he showed some wiggle, his blocking was awful though as expected from the 3rd string OL,he was constantly hit in the backfield but still get some positive yards.

Rams had 4 first round DTs (Donald, Brockers, Easley, Coples) playing in first half, and play very well. But 2nd half had second unit OL and they could not move the 5th string DT that weighed 370 lbs. The middle was no man's land after that.

I said regular season, 16 games regular season. What do you not understand about that.
If he isn't healthy to play right now he doesn't need a spot on the team....what don't you get about that.

With a logjam at RB you go with the healthy guy not a guy that is getting paid 3 million, oldest at the spot and injuried.

McFadden isn't special and he is hurt...again like most his career

Well, then I guess you may think Elliot does not need a spot on the team then right now too,
If tony sit out for back stiffness, does he need a spot. Look how much cap room he will save.
By your theory let's get rid of all the players with a limp then.

Myself I didn't see the speed that observers were saying Morris showed in camp. I wasn't that impressed. Rather see McFadden behind Zeke than him.

I didn't see much speed, but I saw a really shifty runner who was able to make some yards in tight spaces. I came away impressed with Morris, although I want to keep McFadden too. But DMC needs to get himself back into the mix.

Dude you sound slow.

McFadden isn't on the level of Zeke, Romo Dez etc.

Zeke is a sore hamstring not a broken elbow trying to catch a phone

Dunbar never stays healthy.

He will be released and we will carry 4 RBs each Sunday.

If Linehan adequately gets it right..he should have 4 distinctly different RBs to design plays for..

the defense will go crazy trying to meet that challenge.

We should rotate them every play and keep them fresh and involved.

4 Rb's active on the 53? Why? When we can use a roster spot for a DL.

Not sure why you want to go off on me all of a sudden, but your insults, I have no use for. So you are a waste of my time, so on ignore you go.
Debate what you want, but don't insult people. You are the one that is slow.

I hope McFadden gets healthy. I think Morris and McFadden both have different skill sets and it will be interesting to compare them on the field. The Commanders wanted to move on from Morris but in his first game he looked pretty good and may be what the doctored ordered as a backup. HIs first carry got 8-9 yards. I think McFadden would have gotten 5. Morris also caught a screen pass where he got the first down. He was hit around 3-4 yards from the first down. Getting those hidden extra yards is what we were missing last year. I am much more interested in those runs than the 40-50 yard runs. Most times that comes at the expense of a mistake by the defense.

McFadden is the better receiver (although Morris looked pretty good on his one reception) and as a blocker. I still think it is not likely we keep both Morris and McFadden when we already have a guy who will get the majority of the carries in Elliott.

Not when it counts.

You're going to be seriously bummed on September 11 when McFadden is getting carries vs the Giants and Jackson is on the practice squad.
I'm not going to be "bummed" cause McFadden won't get one carry or rep the first game unless Zeke, Morris and Jackson are injuried. McFadden might not even play in preseason

I bet they are secretly shopping McFadden for some help on D but are keeping it hush hush.
With that being said, I like McFadden and Morris and think that Dunbar should be the one out, but Dunbar has really good receiving abilities, although he's always injured.

You don't build thru the draft by cutting rookies with 21 year old legs and 4 years of cheap contracts for 29 year one trick pony vets that cost 2m and don't play STs....McFadden is the definition of expendable, his broken elbow just sealed the deal

I have to agree. Unless Morris gets injured I don't think McFadden will be here much longer.

I believe McFadden stays simply because he's the only guy they can trust to protect Romo if Zeke gets hurt. I could easily see McFadden behind Morris with very limited touches, but in the event of a Zeke injury McFadden would move to number 1 with Morris staying as the change of pace. Because you can trust McFadden to carry the load and more importantly keep Romo upright. He's the best back we have in blitz protection with the possible exception of Zeke and imo they won't get rid of him for a guy like Jackson. It just doesn't make sense when Romo is so valuable.
