We were 13-3 last year and have already lost as many games in less than a third of the season. I get the future ballon payment angle, but the FO needs to be personnel savy enough not to deplete the strength of this team in transition. Too many decent to solid vets cut and too much FA garbage and wounded or green rookies to replace them. You don't get back the productive years of your core, it's a wasting asset. If you decide to put away your pitch fork and lynch rope and try to be a little objective, you can see that the FO is trying to go about building this team the right way. Yes they have bombed on their free agent signings, and they really need to improve in this area, but thank the high heavens they didn't break the bank in these signings and going forward will not affect them from signing other free agents.
FozzieGave you a like just for the Jericho reference
.[/QUOTE]Luckily? Unless your sole purpose is to constantly bash the FO, why not give them credit? They did a heckuva of a job in drafting Lewis, Awuzie, and Woods. That's three potential starters in one draft. That's very impressive, but when you're agenda driven to constantly criticize the FO such as yourself, I guess not.
.
Awuzie has shown flashes in the brief time he's been on the field. If you cannot see the talent this FO has drafted over the years, I can't really help you.
Wait ..he was cut for a bar fight?
Amazing how we've changed as a society and I'm not allowed to say why here. These types of things are cherished and worshipped with the players of the past. If it happens today the player is a cancer.

By that method, Matt Johnson was great pick. He showed "flashes" too. Same for Chaz Green.
If you can't understand that a player that is not available is not worth high regard much less praise for the organization picking them, I don't know how to help you either.
The bar "fight" was a lot like Elliott's where he was there, but there was nothing to it.If the club cut him for a bar fight..then there is no hope for the club. Fighters are exactly what this defense needs. If a little rough stuff scares Garrett so much maybe he needs to be cut.
Its hard to understand the thinking of the Cowboy front office. The bar "fight" was a lot like Elliott's where he was there, but there was nothing to it.
Just goes to show you that you have a higher level of tolerance for stars than you do depth players.
Moore's case was that he was on thin ice to begin with and getting involved several more times with incidents was the final straw.
I just do not understand why you would expect a player who has been a headcase to suddenly turn it around, especially with the culture this team has.

It is because there is no consistency nor focused direction in the decision making process. Its hard to understand the thinking of the Cowboy front office.
Fighters on the field, not off the field. Where was all of Moore's "fight" when it mattered?
Not necessary. They have t-shirts with the word FIGHT on them laying around, I am sure.
The FIGHT t-shirt was a few years ago though.Well then it's their own fault, isn't it?
The players are only doing what they're told. I mean the t-shirt isn't specific, is it?
I think Moore may have a grievance case here...
Really only Thorton got average pay.
4M is way way down the list when looking at annual averages for CBs.
Paea got 1-year, 1.96M.
