Cowboys release TO *Merged*

Roy now has his chance to step up and become a real#1 for a playoff contending team. So it will be Austin VS Crayton to become #2. with the loser being the #3. I guess we will still have Hurd who can make a good #3.
If Austin keeps up his progress he can make a very good Deep Threat= not sure if he can be as goood as Terry Glenn was but if he can get into the neighborhood then that is good enough.

The drama problems. They were not going to put up with it, Roy was brought here to take his place. They are simply moving on from the problems of the past.

IYO, how much of this is Stephen?

I really hope Jerry knows what hes doing with the whole "Romo friendly" thing.

Internal "drama" problems? Or problems generated because TO is on the Cowboys and the media follows him everywhere?

If it's the latter, then the move is still stupid.
A little bit of both.

I doubt very seriously that ESPN goes on the air with this report if it isn't right.

Besides, from what I understand, when teams cut a player, they have to create a paper trail, notifying the NFL office.

You can rest assure that Michael Smith got this information from someone definitely in the know. If not, ESPN has major egg on their face, and that won't bode well for Smith's career.

You just don't go on the air with sourced material of this nature and not be right.

We shall see.
screaming A. Smith talked to Owens and it's true. than the racist screaming A. Smith started to talk trash about Romo.

I think Austin is ready to take the next step and become a serious number 2. I'd like Crayton much more in the slot.

Yeah but that Randy Moss was a young early 20s Randy Moss. Not a mid 30s Terrell Owens.

A 30 something year old that had 1,000 plus yards and 10 TDs ....

I can already see T.O in the middle of the star come 2009 season...

Jerry loves having players who the media follows everywhere. Heck he'd give Jessica a contract if he could.

Sorry, this move confirms that all of the 'drama' is not media created.

Well, then that is just as stupid, because it gives the media some power over an individual's employment in the NFL.

Truth?

80%.

Don't give him that much credit. This is all Jerry. If Jerry wanted TO to stay he would've stayed. Stephen holds no weight and won't until Jerry goes to his grave.
