A 30 something year old that had 1,000 plus yards and 10 TDs ....
And a ton of problems in the locker room, no playoff wins, a ton of dropped passes...

Jerry loves having players who the media follows everywhere. Heck he'd give Jessica a contract if he could.

Sorry, this move confirms that all of the 'drama' is not media created.

Strawman. No one said all at all. I merely asked a question.

I agree but you know they will let them compete at camp. I do not see how Crayton can win that one if Austin is as good as he showed early on.

Good riddance to the aging, headcase that couldn't catch or get open any more.

You think management wanted to get rid of him? 9M cap hit says how bad they wanted to get rid of him. I would think they attempted to trade him too. Somebody might sign him but there won't be a stampede to his door.

Don't give him that much credit. This is all Jerry. If Jerry wanted TO to stay he would've stayed. Stephen holds no weight and won't until Jerry goes to his grave.

Delusion much?

It's interesting and amusing that fans not even in the Cowboys locker room can declare with such certainty that T.O. isn't a locker room cancer.

If the Cowboys cut T.O., then it speaks to two things:

1. His talent was diminishing with no improvement in site. He is in his mid 30s.

2. His mouth and attitude we're enough to put up with no that his talent is diminishing.

Actually, I like the move. At some point, the Cowboys have to address the future. T.O. had maybe one, possibly two more "productive" years with the Cowboys.

So what if the Cowboys cut him early. Might as well do it now, send a message to current players that mouthing off, foolishness and immaturity will not be tolerated and make a run for the Super Bowl next year.

No more team centered around T.O. No more having to respond to his antics or what he's said in a press conference. No more subtle digs at fellow teammates.

It's on to the future. :D

Pacman is gone. Tank is going to be gone.

How is he the only one?

Well, I don't really consider them the problem as far as the offense is concerned.

Crayton should go back to the slot wehere he is most effective(affective)?

Pound the ball, move the chains with Roy. I love it. I think Romo will have his best season and Witten is going to explode. Being an explosive offense doesn’t win, being consistent does.

so....ummmm....did anything happen tonight?

:D

i didn't think jer-rah would have the balls to do it.

There is a lot of truth to that.

The Liars Club has lost a valued member.

Body language here says a lot. Witten hands on hips, no problem. TO hands behind his back, guilty conscience. Romo arms folded, upset, and plotting revenge.

Dr. Phil out...

Roy now has his chance to step up and become a real#1 for a playoff contending team. So it will be Austin VS Crayton to become #2. with the loser being the #3. I guess we will still have Hurd who can make a good #3.
If Austin keeps up his progress he can make a very good Deep Threat= not sure if he can be as goood as Terry Glenn was but if he can get into the neighborhood then that is good enough.

I hope I'm wrong, but imho, that trade is going to set this franchise back 4-6 years.

The eagles stomped our guts out with pretty much nothing at receiver (except the rookie)
The distraction wasn't worth it but RW11 better step up all the same.

I would like to see that little whinning ***** Ellis get released.

Besides pout during the offseason about his roll. What has he ever done? He is a veteran on this team who is constant contributer, during the season its just business.
