Why? Weird. If it's similar to the nba then its against league rules.

Why? Weird.
Again. The situations are not equivalent at all.
Do you know what the word advantage means?
Because that's what we are talking about. Philly players likely got treatment all Sunday for those who needed it after the game and likely again on Monday all before Cowboys players probably got their first night in a bed after a football game.
Philly coaches got to begin breaking us down in earnest Sunday before we played and WHILE seeing us play another game.
You can talk about things we do to overcome the disadvantage. You can't speak about it not being a disadvantage.
And in a game sometimes decided by inches... See Dallas @ Giants Sunday night.... These things sometimes matter.
yes I do I also know Dallas plays thanksgiving every year, NFL is not screwing Dallas over that crap gets so old, Oh they are being mean, get over it. Philly has to travel that is 1 day lost. Dallas had a bye after Jacksonville and as players had time off Dallas coaches were able to game plan for Philly during that week. Dallas got home early yes they then were able to go home get rest before going to practice later that day. Is there any big advantage either way? Not really.
I have an 8:30 AM flight on Wednesday. That means I have to be at the airport by at least seven. It takes 90 mins at least to get there, so I guess I'll be waking up around 4AM. Thanksgiving is going to be rough. Flying can be awfully draining.
I am not an NFL conspiracy theorist. I think they simply want the Cowboys on national TV as often as possible.
Also can you please explain to me how flying to Dallas Wednesday afternoon is a day lost?
Because either you're not familiar with current plane technology or you don't know how time works.
The night, road game before Thanksgiving isn't a conspiracy, but it is a response to other team's complaints about the inherent advantage the Cowboys held by having it every year. When the other owners (Mara) were complaining about it a couple of years ago this was one of the solutions they found.
I know how time works and flying, your whining about Dallas is at some big disadvantage is a joke. Dallas being at home is an advantage in and of itself, They are professional athletes the trip back from NY was not a big deal, Players did get a chance to get rest and they are back at work. Players are not crying about this but a few here have their panties in a wad over nothing. But that is normal, got to have something to cry about.
Being at home isn't the advantage. Because we play the Eagles on the road as well.
The situation around this game limits any advantage you have being at home. No such barrier for when we travel to Philly.
Quick who finished their game 8 hours earlier?
Quick who got to receive treatment and sleep in their bed and get a full nights rest Sunday?
Quick who will be fully rested Sunday night Monday night Tuesday night and Wednesday night?
Quick who will be well rested just Monday night and Tuesday night and Wednesday night?
Words have meaning.

The Cowboys have been doing this for YEARS, so the routine has been passed down, they know what it is all about. And what to do, and how to handle it.
But do the younger players, which this team is. So this will be a test to the coaching staff and the trainers.
Yes the night game does not help much, and the Eagles had a home game against a poor team. But they travel on Wednesday. I hope there is a snow storm and they get delayed, and can't fly in until Thursday morning, sitting on the plane all night.....j/k.....
It's funny. My first post said no excuses. Words have meaning.
And yes we had a bye. So what. Every team gets one. I don't care of we played week 1 in prime time and then week 2 Thursday afternoon.
I'd still call it hypocritical for an NFL that harps on player safety.
You lost me, we were the SNF game last Sunday.
It's not funny it's sad
When you say "no excuses but...." And follow it up with an excuse be prepared to be called out
The game is on Thursday, Dallas had a bye to work on game plan for Philly , getting home late big fricken deal these are grown men not little girls. They got 8 hours at home to sleep and relax they had a light workout later that day. Words do have meaning but your post does not
For someone who said no excuses, you sure seem to be harping on the situation. Like someone making an excuse.
Except that's not what happened.
You could try and read my posts before responding to them.
The NFL has deliberately tried to sabotage our season by forcing us to play 8 games at home. The NFL has such an agenda against us that they scheduled us against the Eagles in Dallas so they have a short week with travel then schedule us with two Thursday games in a row to give us extra time to prepare for the Eagles the 2nd time around.
