I don't like nor watch soccer. Ive been down the schedule checking road many times, it is full of detours.I appreciate your response and if it’s not a subject that interest you. Enjoy your soccer game.
ya I remember that , also teams that were good or playoff team last year may not be that at the timeThe schedule coming out of preseason will look different than it does in July.
Anyone else recall from 2016, after the Cowboys won their first game following the opening loss vs NYG, that every game thereafter was being cited as the “real test” for Dak?
Of course, after the Cowboys’ winning streak mounted, and as they beat each one of the “real test” teams, the wins were then being dismissed by many with, “Yeah, but _______really isn’t that good of a team.”
Let’s hope so . Never know and why we play the games. My concern is with a young team could a slow start be too tough to overcome .It's a good schedule. It does happen to start off difficult, but that's in our favor. If the team can handle the adversity and string together some wins in September, then it'll be downhill thereafter. They get the Eagles at home after a long rest (TNF game) with the Eagles coming off a road MNF game. That's almost unheard of. And December is just set up for a streak leading into a deep playoff run.
There are no games on the schedule that you can actually circle and say that’s a gimme. Maybe the Colts game. The Lions have a new head coach but stafford will always keep them in the game. The Commanders are building that d line and now have not added a decent RB. The Giants with Barkley and Beckham are gonna be a problem.Looks really tough to me. @ Car & @Sea with NY, Det and Jags at home .I could see a 2-4 start thinking 3-3 would be good.
And gets even tougher after Wash vs Tenn, at Phil and @ Atl all playoff teams. With NO and Phil following Wash again. That could easily be 4 or 5 more losses with 5 games in 7 weeks against playoff teams.
Fortunately ending with Indy, Tampa and NY looks more promising if we’re not already out of it.
ok so if they go10-6 what garret ust get a 10yr renewal and Jerry goes to the hoF again..given you say we suck so hard we should finish 6-10, heck 4 games better than Nostradamus over here should win awards..right LMAO we had one of the worst schedules to date last year and had just about the most bad luck you can have losing players and went 9-7 ..we will trip into10-6 see you in October to see whos rightThey win about 6 games this year. It is what it is. Shout out to the front office for letting the skill positions atrophy to this point with their stellar foresight and vision.
Or better yet, shout out to the FO for an average defensive and coaching over the last 20+ years. They win about 6 games this year. It is what it is. Shout out to the front office for letting the skill positions atrophy to this point with their stellar foresight and vision.
But yet your confident without seeing them play together?
Why is your crystal ball more believable than the other?
Normally I don’t believe until I’ve seen.
We know there is currently no pro bowler, all pro, or hof player at any of those positions. They might become 1 of those things but it is unlikely to happen this year.
hey Diehard--- i understand after watching how we played last half of season in 2017 you dont have a lot of confidence...but i really think we will roll out both a good offense and defense this year...and i am laying first GORICO PLATINUM GAURANTEE-- we are no worse than 4-2 our first 6 gamesLooks really tough to me. @ Car & @Sea with NY, Det and Jags at home .I could see a 2-4 start thinking 3-3 would be good.

The strategy is clearly going to be to run the ball, play ball control and try to force turnovers.
The only way the offense will be throwing more than 25 passes a game, is if something with the running game or defense is going wrong. The strategy going into a game is never going to be to air it out.
The problem will lie, in situations where the team is forced to get into a shootout, either because of committing too many turnovers or because the defense is struggling. Then they will be in some trouble.
Otherwise is going to be Zeke and a cloud of dust. Which can definitely win a lot of games. The truth is, if the OL stays healthy, our offense should be able to be as efficient as it was in 2016. Hopefully the defense can be better than 2016’s.
It’s great to hear your optimistic about the season. I truly wish I felt the same way although I do understand there’s a possibility we could start strong I was providing some of the scenarios I felt could provide a slower start.hey Diehard--- i understand after watching how we played last half of season in 2017 you dont have a lot of confidence...but i really think we will roll out both a good offense and defense this year...and i am laying first GORICO PLATINUM GAURANTEE-- we are no worse than 4-2 our first 6 games
Doubtful concerns and criticism don’t have to be construed as pessimistic.I can slightly agree with this statement. The unknown can cause pessimistic reactions.
We’re certainly going to give them every opportunity. Here’s to proving you right!Where did I mention all-pro, pro-bowl, or greatness? My qoute was, time will prove you and others wrong that state as facts, the Cowboys have no receivers. These are NFL players not named Dez or Witten, whoop Dee Doo. Both of them had to become something before fans accepted them, give the same opportunity to these guys.
Ahhh the good old days where you knew the Cowboys were good and could enjoy it.I miss those days where you knew the Cowboys would just mud stomp whatever team thought they were a contender.
Usually you look at the schedule and there are about 4 very good teams the Cowboys play. It's unusual you have a whole schedule full of playoff teams. Sure everyone in the NFC east has to play the same teams but the fact the other teams ha e to also play the Eagles twice gives the Eagles a big advantage. They basically play the same teams as the other NFCE teams. Why do fans worry about the schedule so much? If you’re good you’ll win and if you’re not you’ll lose.
