Signed by Cowboys Cowboys sign Dante Fowler

He had 11.5 sacks in 2019 , he’s not a bust

Why does this single year stat keep popping up? Has there been consistent play beyond that single breakout year?

Gregory aside, there were much better DE's to pick up, but the DFT, always comes to the lot to kick tires. How about driving the car?

Disagree. We've seen too many times what this team yields with no depth. Honestly, outside of QB (Don't care that Cooper won one he's a #3 at best), we had far more depth last year than we've had in a while. Unfortunately OL was not that spot. Hopefully we address that in the draft a bit.

The team had depth last year.

Remember when Jerry Jones let Robert Quinn walk and he finished with 18 sack in 2021 for da Bears? :banghead:

We didn't let Quinn walk.

He was paid 5 years, $70 million lol

His cap hits over the next three are 17,18,17.

Complaining? I am replying to delusional statements.

Nah, you're taking a negative slant on reasonable posts.... Fowler is a decent signing (when you look at the CAP restraints and what others are getting paid). You can complain about other available players, however, our available CAP has to be spread over a number of holes.

Decent signing and I can see what Stephen's trying to do with the CAP.....but dont make it sound as if we the fans have a say (or consulted) in how the team's run. You're the boss, you take responsibility.
That's not really Stephen.

Hes likely somewhere without cell service for the week.

It's not really him.

I like that Fowler can play with his hand in the dirt but also standing up. He's had success in a 4-3 and went to a super bowl under the 3-4.

I guess I'm in the minority here in thinking that Fowler for one year is a MUCH better proposition than Gregory with a big contract.

Getting at least the same production and a much better shot at getting 17 games out of him.

They are actually quite similar players.

One has serious baggage.
