Maybe the FS is seen as a bigger deal/investment, so they want to pow-wow with Quinn, McClay, etc before they make the call.
Still need a draft pick at FS either way.

How much sense does that make? So you bring in two guys when the coaches aren’t here, let them two players leave to go to visit other teams, spend the next couple of days getting feedback from coaches while the players in question could sign elsewhere?

And apparently the coaches don’t need to weigh in on Kearse since he just signed.

I surely hope that isn’t the strategy. It’s not well thought out. Hopefully the report that they are in negotiations with Kazee right now is true.
