Signed by Cowboys Cowboys sign Nolan Carroll

I care more about coverage. If he's getting burned or giving up yards 60% of the time a QB throws his way, this is a downgrade.

Carroll has 21 passes defended in the last 2 seasons Carr has 15.

Games played 101 compared to Carr 144...so less wear and tear you could say.

Again just slight upgrades.

Got just the spot for him.

No question it will be spun in that fashion.

Of course it will be because you have at least bodies at a position and are not forced into drafting a position to field a team.

It's the difference between having a need and having to reach for a need.

Of course anything less than 2010 Revis rolling in for cheap dollars is going to be panned by you two as a waste of time or money.

That's an interesting spin............... less wear and tear because he's played less games.

The reason he played less games is he gets injured.

Theirs no sugar coating it. The guy is not even an average cornerback.

Seriously, why not go kick the tires on Justin Gilbert the CB from the Steelers. He's wayy younger and more potential

That's the mistake that the Fan Boys always make.

Critical Cowboy fans aren't complaining about lack of "signings;" they are complaining about lack of improvements.

And how do you know this is not an improvement
Which is typical of troll fans, they always look for the negatives.

And critical fans as you want to call them, are just another way to say someone that finds negatives. I have yet to see a self proclaimed critical or realist fan try to find anything good to say.

Fan boys......what a freaking joke of a saying.....but carry on....

well he is at least quality depth as he was a starter.
3 yr 10M
so likely about 3M bonus
so year 1 cap hit is ~$2M
and if they release him next year june 1, his impact would only be 1M

Really?

He made $2MM last year and we just gave him a raise after he was pretty brutal last year. It will be interesting to see the actual details.
Dude. He'll get 4mm this year and if he sucks we can probably get out with minimal cost next year.

He's also probably not as bad as you think unless you've been scouting Eagles all year. I know how good I think our Cowboys are. I know a lot of players on other teams especially offensive guys. I just wish people would stop being so definitive over guys who they've probably seen play less than 100 snaps.

Do we forfeit any of our conditional picks from the guys we loss?

I'm guessing it will be Claiborne.

Claiborne
Brown
Scandrick
Carroll

Add a draft pick in the first 4 rounds to that and there's your depth chart.

think that is about it since they may bring in a G.
they took care of wr.
got in paea a replacement for mcclain - not bad and he played for marinelli in chicago. when he last played in a 4-3, he got 6 sacks in 2014.

that leaves CB, SS and DE for the draft.
so CB and DE are top priorities.
they could trade up or they could BPA between DE and CB for round 1 and 2.
they are counting on the draft for improvements in DE and CB.
presume they draft a OT also.

Yes a 5th and 6th have been cancelled out.

Williams cancels out McClain and Caroll likely cancels Crawford.

Still should get a 5th for church and 4th for Leary .
