Most likely Poe is not going to sign with us. He wants real money and we don't pay out real money. Stephen is still
looking for bargains and we are not going to jeopardize that 3rd round pick we have coming next year.
its done

With Bell's contract he will be on the roster.
Jarwin, Bell, Schultz, if they stay with Schultz.

I did not like it when they drafted Schultz in the 1st place, back then. I think it was a knee jerk reaction to Witten leaving. They needed to use that pick for defense. I then kind of liked him somewhat in 2018, as he made some good catches. Seemed like he could develop well. Then Witten returned, he kind of disappeared, because of the coaches as well.
But I was coming around on him in 2018, and was hoping for more more in 2019. Then progressed was stopped.

However maybe he just needs more opportunities as I did start to like what I was seeing, as you said, when he was allowed on the field for a few plays last season.
I want to see how hw improves if given the chance this season.
Yup one good thing about this year is favoritism will decrease dramatically. Not only because MM isn’t the same gutless leader Garrett was, but also due to the simple fact that relationships haven’t formed for there to be favoritism yet. Should get good clean competition all around the roster

I don't know much about him, but he sounds like just a blocker:

Former KC Chief. We can really use his 67 yards receiving next year.

6 ft 6 1⁄4, 252 lb, 4.80 s 40yds, 33 in vertical, 14 reps 225lb.

Teams seem to like him, so he must can block and he will get a lot of run playing time because Jarwin can not block my 13 year old.

Now, don't you feel silly?

Can't afford to spend any of those picks on a TE only if it's BPA, so I like the signing.

COWBOYS!
I'll wager you a soda that Dallas drafts a TE on Friday.

I'm with you on the point though. If certain guys are gone, they need to deal down. Theres some nice players in rounds 3-5 in this draft.

All things considered, this is a pretty good signing.

At least they seem to be paying a little bit of attention to special teams.

This guy can block, play ST, isnt old, isnt an awful receiver, and doesnt make a ton of money.

Jarwin, Bell and a draft pick at TE seems acceptable to me.

You're hereby on notice Mr. Schultz.

Why are some of you guys poo-pooing this? Camp body? I don't think so. He sounds like a nice #2 to Jarwin. Very good blocker, special teams guy. I really like this signing. I dont think it rules at a day 3 TE in the draft, but it removes it from the need category.

Agreed. I'm just thinking we need too many pieces on defense to reach for a TE in the early rounds.

Now, if Thaddeus Moss, the kid from Notre Dame, or the kid from Mizzou fall into your lap, sure - pull the trigger. I just don't want them reaching.

and just think.. Jarwin was an undrafted TE out of Okla st. that they developed ( even though Philly tried to pouch him of our practice squad) that cost us
no draft picks, .while Schultz was a sheer panic move that cost us a 4th round pick. Drafting a TE body just for the sake of needing one.

Source confirms TE Blake Bell is signing a one-year deal with the Cowboys, as
@clarencehilljr
reported. Source further tells me the Chiefs expressed interest in bringing back Bell, and he had a hard decision to make. In the end, the native of Wichita, Kansas, chose Dallas.
