Stephen and Jerry will be comfortable with Zimmer.

What makes anyone think Jerry will allow Zimmer to hold anyone accountable? Maybe a late round pick or free agent, but not gonna happen with any of our star players. They'll just run to Jerry

They trusted young kellen Moore with promotion to OC and kept him there when McCarthy arrived.

Yet with young internal asst. coaches per Witt Jr. & Harris, they prefer to look external outside for DC hires ?

We are the ideal landing spot for coaches who've been out of the game for a while.

I like Zimmer for the fact that's he's a tougher personality but I don't see this working out well.

Zimmer isn't a players coach like Quinn. He'll stick his foot up somebody if need be....I would not mind this hire at all.

Him and Parcells are very tight. I remember reading he kind of mentioned Zimmer after he left and the two spoke every Monday morning after his games as a Head Coach.

Definitely more of a tough coach than lovey dovey. But, I’d prefer that with this group! Needs someone to just flat out tell em how it is to even out Jerry’s softness.

Yep. Some probably remember Jerry's chief complaint with Parcells--that he had to walk on eggshells around the office during the Parcells era.
