This makes sense, plus he is not a rkg, and there may be some other issues, but seattle has lynch and jackson for this year.
This could be a good deal for dallas, they may need to communicate with this guy via "Rap" I think that is his main language.

<Makes things more interesting, I would like to see him week one against the giants. at least a few carries.

Not too fast on not being a right kind of guy until he has adjusted to the Dallas environment. A lot of questionalbe players thrive well in Big D, now.

Seattle is depressing

He is coming home to Texas

He ran for 230 yards and 3 TDs at Cowboys Stadium at Texas AM vs Arkansas

IMO good value for a seventh conditional now losing Lavar Edwards has to be brought into the equation, Are we a better offense now, I think so as I think Michaels is equivalent to Randal so IMO we got better especially in the dirty yards category I do not think there is enough relevant tape to give a thumbs up or down on pass protection.
He seems to have some " look at me" in his personality so be prepared to start cringing. Hey this is a move that good teams use trying to hit on some talent much like McClain last year.
It is strange to note that Michaels has been shouting out to the cowboys since before training camp that they should trade for him. First time I can remember something like this coming to pass.

Thanks for the info, was he Lynch's main backup last year ?

Not a fan. Doesn't SPARQ my cur

yeah. I think that's why Dallas got him. I'm not a fan of the guy.

With what was out there he was a good pick up. He has power, speed, vision, and most of all.. nastiness. I'm not a fan of his personality but is what it is....
We both know DMC is going to get hurt and Randle can't pass protect. We had to get someone else. I would have preferred Jonas Gray but I will take Michael.

Seems like the team just made a significant upgrade for cheap. Can't say I can complain. My worry has been that I didn't think Randle and McFadden could stay healthy all season, so with this I now have zero concern about the RB position. Successful front office move.

That fans around the league are pissed about it just makes me giddy, though.

Unsure how you arrived at this. Statistically, he only had 2 fumbles over 2013 and 2014 and 1 in 2015. Did I miss something? That's 3 fumbles out of 105 carries. Maybe it's correctable -- I guess we'll see.

It was like in 70 carries. Looks like Seattle gave him a very short leash.

actually he reminds me more of Lynch. He looks to punish defenders...fast forward to 0:45

Hey thanks for the video, that was great !! This guy has vision, cutting ability, tough runner and uses the stiff arm. He looks great !!!

The guy is incredibly intriguing. Well worth a 7th assuming he doesn't bring baggage we're not aware of

So your giving credit to the Front Office? I'm stoked shocked! LOL

It took a long time and a ton of posts to get here, but things are looking up.

Fans happy with the old RBBC will love adding a thumper
Fans unhappy with the old RBBC will love adding a young, vet RB with upside

good read, several bring up the fumbling issue, but several think it was stupid to trade him to dallas who is a rival contender in the playoffs,
and a team they play in dallas this year. They said smarter to trade him to a AFC team.
Many did think he might be a good fit here in dallas, and will find out if he is a bust or a talent.

They said he wasnt all that good at learning the plays, and his assignments, pass blocking, but was a good runner.

Absolutely no reason to keep Dunbar around over Edwards or Gardner (Edwards won job over him I'd say). No way there's enough balls to go around to keep involved too. First move I haven't liked this off season (not cutting Dunbar with Michael here, and losing depth at DE)

It also a week before the season starts and none of these guys have taken a snap in practice.

I would have offered a 4th or 5th if that meant we could've got him in July.

Hopefully McFadden can at least stay healthy for 2 weeks to get Michael up to speed.

Christine Michaels is going to blossom here. Seattle's line is terrible and pretty much have to be a running back like Lynch to gain yards there.
