Going to be interesting to hears Spagnola's spin on this. Last week, somebody called in to Talkin' Cowboys and specifically mentioned Michael. Spags gave his typical answer "Why would we want the 3rd string RB for Seattle if they don't want him?".
I am sure this week he will be calling this the best trade since the Herschel Walker deal.

I agree. He wasn't my preferred choice but I'll take it over what we have currently at the position.

That's the kind of back the Cowboys need to compliment what they have. They need someone who can knock heads and push a defender backwards that can mean the difference in moving the chains and having to punt.

He is already the toughest running back we have to tackle bar none. We have tissue paper Dunbar and skinny legs McFadden. Both will trip over a long shadow. And I think we will find out real quick that Joseph Randle can't take the pounding. That said, I think this guy is a zero in pass protection. .

He had 1 fumble this preseason but neither it or his 1 regular season fumble were resulted in a turnover.

Yes of course. I always had faith they wouldn't let this train derail because of some stupid quasi rbbc configuration. They were starting to make me nervous though. For those that are against this move and just not voicing it.. you know... those of us that have turned away from any mention of bringing in another rb for weeks now . Trust that you will love Michael. The guy is trainable, bruises, blocks, makes ppl miss, and most importantly is is an all around good guy that happens to carry some swag with him.

A rbbc can work but not the way we were going in. It has to have two backs that can carry the load at any given time with a change of pace back mixed in. Now you have that with DMC, Michael, & Randle.
