TRADED Cowboys trade for OT Broderick Jones

This was gonna happen. Steele is getting eviscerated and Jerry apparently wants to keep Milton even if he would be willing to trade him if a better Right Tackle emerged.

I don't like the trade. You are already short on draft capital in an expected deep draft and now you burn some more on a career underachiever. All because you thought Terence Steele was a good player and now you have nothing there.

Plus his last name is Jones. I need proof that he isn't related to Jerry.
The Cowboys were a Guyton or Steele injury away from sending Nate Thomas or Drew Shelton out there.

That would have bothered me more than flipping a 3rd for a 4th.

The same forum that was overjoyed to dump Pickens. Same college....same unrealistic expectations.....and they give up on a guy they completely mismanaged.

Give me Broderick Jones @ RT....and give him some help w/ a TE or chip with a RB.....and watch him flourish
Great. Now he's got Floaty stank on him too.

I dont like it for a 3 (even getting a 4 in return) with the reports being so negative on him I thought a 6th alone would have been enough

I don't think he was the driving force behind that. Watch the secret audio video of that pick. Schottenheimer asks Adams if he's okay with Shelton. I don't think that's a question you ask a guy who is leading the campaign.

But our OL Coach Conor Riley recruited Shelton and mentions to him on the draft call that he can't get away from him this time. He might be the moron.
Can't throw dirt on Shelton's career yet. His strength was an issue for scouts heading into the draft and that cost him at least a round. He needs a year or two in a pro weightroom. The Cowboys can't wait two years for tackle help. Hence Jones.
