I see 7-8 guys all very worth taking at 32, so dallas should easily be able to get a very good one at 34.
Come on!

There is only one reason why a team would do this and that would be if there was a player left that they have in an entirely different tier than the players remaining.
Then, by definition (if there is one) it would be worth it.

Who knows..maybe the huddled with the doctors again overnight and have might now want Jack.
Or maybe they've been talked off the ledge and are going for Spencer.
If it's Dodd, I think they could have him at 34.

Normally, this would only take Dallas earliest 6th. But because the 1st pick on the second day is always more valuable, it'll take more.
fwiw, 6th rounder rarely work out for us...if that helps. Plus dallas has 4 of them.

If they do...you know the next thing will be.....(name team) was hot after this guy, we had to go get him.

I think teams do have a better idea than we do who other teams are after.

Is the goal here to make headlines? Damn just hold onto the picks. We need help at several positions.

Only way this makes sense is if they're targeting one guy. If, say, Dodd and Spence are close on their board, might as well wait. Not sure why they feel the need to get to 32 and didn't to 31, or 30, or 29. Maybe they view Tennessee as a serious threat to snatching their guy. Hopefully it's all a smokescreen though. Apparently they loved Lynch, but not enough to offer more in a trade up. So if they maintained their composure in that situation, hopefully they'll maintain it here too.

Tenn runs a 3-4. If we are after a pass rusher, wonder who they could also be looking at.....unless of course, we are not looking at a DE as Fish, Sham, BB think.....hmmmm.

cmon man he's worth more than that. leary is a quality starter.
Maybe this is where we trade Leary.

Hey, Ron, you're worth moving up two spots in the second round.

We should get the Browns to at least throw in a sixth.

I can see Spence being a solid SOLB in a 3-4. I'd rather go with a safer, less risky choice in Dodd. I'd love to get a DT too. Maybe they really like Billings and are afraid Tennessee is targeting their next NT. Who knows...

Oh boy. Who hired Jimmy?

I expect this from Commanders fans but not true Cowboys fans....

If you wanna credit Jerry for hiring jimmy,ok, he deserves it, but jimmy built those super bowl teams not Jerry

You might as well say 5. He had as much to do with the first two than the last three, other than hiring his college roommate.

Wow. Were you alive during this period of time? Jerry was the biggest maverick in the NFL and did things completely unorthodox.

Are you really this naive to think he had nothing to do with those three? Really?

Boys have 8 remaining picks and 4 of them cannot be traded because they are comp picks. I'd rather they stay where they are with each pick then wheel and deal.

Sure, Jerry gets credit for hiring Jimmy. Jimmy built those SB teams. Jimmy left.

In his place, Jerry seized most of the control of roster building. Since Jimmy left and Jerry has assumed the GM duties, the Cowboys have stumbled along.

Just curious, when was the last time you had your eyes checked? Because you have definitely been seeing something much different than I have the last 20 or so years.

He's only worth what teams are willing to pay for him.

Although he is a quality starter, he still has the knee condition that could end his career at any time.

We could just keep him as a backup for a year, but then we get nothing for him.

If they give up our 3rd I'm gonna Nkemdiche out my window.

I think the worst it would be is if Dallas swaps their 4th for Cleveland's 5th. Or Dallas just gives them next year's 5th. Ughh
Even that is too much.
