I saw a team without a head coach go to an NFC Championship and win a Superbowl and then go through something unprecedented.....a dynasty get old and injured in the salary cap era.

Sure...there were a lot of mistakes made but I just can't believe that Cowboys fans think Jerry had nothing to do with those Championships. Newsflash...they don't happen if he doesn't buy the team!

Yeah a team built by Jimmy Johnson. Not Jerry.

It's been 20 years since that SB win. More than enough time to build a championship team again. Jerry failed.

Maybe a great owner but a horrible GM if you go by on the field results since he basically took over for Jimmy in the player personnel area.

Did Jimmy sign Deion, you know...the difference between us or the niners in 94/95?

LOL. This is embarrassing for you.

You mean the Deion signed after two titles were won? The Deion that everybody knew was an historic player who just wanted to get paid?

What an outstanding personnel find by Jerry. I stand corrected.

I am seriously not wasting my draft Friday talking about such idiotic nonsense. Have fun with your fantasy.

in fairness to Dallas If they think dodd and ogbah would go with the next two picks its understandable they reach out and have this conversation.

What it would indicate to me is that we really value one guy above the rest and don't want to take the chance on him being gone.

I'm not totally opposed to that, but if you do it, you better be right. If you have players like Ogbah and Dodd on the same level, then you just stay put.

Exactly
If you think one guy is better you go get him. Is relatively cheap to go up and prevents someone from trading in front of you

There has been a trade for the 32nd pick.

The Cleveland Browns have traded the 32nd pick and their 7th round pick to the Dallas Cowboys for the 34th pick and Ezekiel Elliott.

With the 32nd pick, the Dallas Cowboys select............... Jacoby Brisset, QB, North Carolina State.

OK, so I am Clear...Jerry didn't sign him? Lol.

Because all of the owners/GMs in the league could have done the same...

They could have. But Jerry had the most money and offered the most money.

No offense, but signing Deion Sanders in 1994 didn't take a whole lot of player personnel and scouting skill. Any nitwit on this board with money could have done that as owner of the Cowboys.

I dont think the trade is necessary but it shouldnt cost too much to do it. If they want a 6th i do it. But why would the Browns do that??

Best pass rushers left are Jack and Spence. Jack probably won't play this year, so I think they would be looking at Spence if that's true. Though, Fisher said they didn't like Spence's interview, but I believe Fisher about as far as I can throw him.
Yeah didn't Fisher basically guarantee the pick was going to be Ramsey? Yeah dude isn't always on top,of things esp for being an insider.

I've got to believe if we're really seeking to trade up to the top of the round, it's for Jack, not one of the pass rushers.

Jack is the only player left who is head-and-shoulders above the rest talentwise, and Dallas has shown before that it is willing to take risks in the second on players staying healthy.

Yes. In times of indecision let us all be guided by the wise words of Jerry Jones.

I'm on board with trading up for Prescott of it only costs us our 3rd and 1 4th

I can't believe he's still available

Go for it Jerry!
