Noah Spence - DL - Player
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports the Cowboys are "attempting" to acquire the No. 32 overall pick from the Browns.

According to RapSheet, the Cowboys' "likely target" is a pass rusher. Rotoworld draft guru Josh Norris' top available edge rusher left on the board is Eastern Kentucky's Noah Spence. Spence has some off-field issues related to drugs, so maybe the Cowboys, who have already lost their two starting ends to suspensions, will shy away from him. Either way, they need help off the edge.

How much would it cost us ? Would it take our 101 pick ?

No one knows. Per the value chart, it would be an overpay. But if there is a bunch of teams clamoring for the 32nd pick, Jones might overpay.

If the cost is 101, they should stay put at 34.

You certainly are confused. my had nothing to do with Sanders. But you are acting like Jerry signing Deion was some brilliant piece of scouting and roster building by Jerry. It wasn't. It was simply the most dynamic player available and Jerry had money to burn and signed him. That's it. Great move but not actually some piece of evidence that proves Jerry is one heck of a GM.

But then again, even if you give Jerry a crap ton of credit for being a brilliant GM and scout when he signed Deion............ explain the next 20+ years where he, as GM, has failed to field even one NFC Title team. One.

Jerry has been widely successful on the business side of running the Cowboys. He's been a bust as a GM.

Here....read this so it helps your recollection of how huge this was and that it wasn't just a no brainer...

And do drafting Larry Allen in 1994 help win the chip in 95? How about replacing Stepnoski with Donaldson?

Still no credit?

I am not even going to get into the 1991,1992,1993 stuff that Jerry was heaviily involved in.

Look...I am not saying this mostly wasn't Jimmy...it absolutely was. But it is completely ignorant to say Jerry had nothing to do with it.

If it nets us someone that we rate high and only lose 2 6 round pick or 2 projects? What's the problem? Lol sometimes I feel people want to complain about everything without taking a step back and breathing. Breath!

our late rounders have been camp fodder, so if you feel you can get a great contributor, you absolutely do that.

I don't care if it's 2 6th rounders but rumors are multiple teams are calling the Browns. If so the Cowboys better not be stupid and get ripped off by overpaying.

And yet, you still don't have an explanation for the next 21 years after 1995 when Jerry had all the control.

Unless your name is Rip Van Winkle and you just woke up from a long slumber since 1995.
