One, to try to blame the last 20+ years (20 FREAKING YEARS) on trying to rebuild an aging dynasty is laughable. Shouldn't take 20+ years to do that.

And great, since 1995, he's put together exactly one team - 2007 - that was considered an elite team. 21 or so seasons, one really uber talented team.

Even the sun shines on a dog's *** sometimes.

Well...2014 was pretty damn good too. And if the Dez call goes our way...who knows what happens.

Leary, 101 and next year's 1 for 32?

Ummmm............ that's probably an overpay.

Not really, since #32 is technically a 1st round pick. We are trading a 1st for a 1st, a backup and a 4th round pick. Also remember, trading a future 1 is equal to a 2. And I doubt we draft this high next year. It would actually be a great deal for Dallas. Did you miss the part where I said we keep #34?

Calm down everybody and step away from the ledge [keyboard] and take a deep breath. Nothing has happened yet. Go spend some time with your family or get back to work. The draft doesn't pick back up until 7 eastern. Everybody just needs to chill out.

Crap, work. I need to start doing that.

Only way this makes sense is if they're targeting one guy. If, say, Dodd and Spence are close on their board, might as well wait. Not sure why they feel the need to get to 32 and didn't to 31, or 30, or 29. Maybe they view Tennessee as a serious threat to snatching their guy. Hopefully it's all a smokescreen though. Apparently they loved Lynch, but not enough to offer more in a trade up. So if they maintained their composure in that situation, hopefully they'll maintain it here too.

Actually Denver offer was more but Seattle didn't tell Dallas. Jerry said he would have offered more had Seattle told him

They asked Stephan about Jack and Ragland . Stephan jones just said " LB is not very high on our priority" cross off Ragland and Jack . He also said "we are a big fan of Baylor Bears and we keep on eye on bringing those guys home."

Some teams have been built, torn down and rebuilt multiple times in those 20 years, panthers, Ravens, steelers, Giants, Broncos just to name a few

yeah, I still don't do it.

So you'd essentially be trading our 29th pick next year (let's say) for 32nd this year and then throw in two 4th round picks (Leary's worth could be higher).

Nah, I think that's an overpay.

So reach for Billings? And why isn't LB very high? Is McClain the future at ILB? God I hope not. Who is playing SAM?

Billings or Howard.

And I had a feeling based on some rumors that the Cowboys flagged Jack's medical record that we weren't even considering him.

Spence too light in the pants for me another 250 lb Tweener NO NO NO

Best pure pass rusher in the draft. I take him without thinking.

As was shown in another thread, if you can't get to the QB, your chances of making a SB run aren't very good. So I load up on uber talented edge guys. The reality is that some of these guys won't pan out so I give myself as many chances at one panning out as possible.

Any chance Dallas can get Billings in the 3rd? Dude has that nasty attitude the DL needs.
