Weeden is now exhibit A in the case that Garrett needs to go. He single handily proves Garretts system is the problem. Then you have all kinds of additional evidence to pile on, especially continued poor clock management. I used to love the idea of Garrett being the coach for 20 years but he just isn't head coach material. His system is outdated and just plain crap and he cannot manage a game correctly.

I don't mind Garrett as a walk around head coach, but why do we need to keep running his antiquated offense? Can't we get an innovator in here to maximize our talent. Garrett is not that guy.

Here's what a PO'ed Bills' fan posted on their forum... made me LOL!

"I have been a diehard for more than 30 years. I even made the mistake of making my son a Bills fan. Do you think I can get arrested for child abuse?"

After another couple of more years of jerry and Jason, cowboy fans will be posting the same thing

It's funny because several years ago he was talking about the Patriots and how they never let go of the gas and are always trying to put up points no matter the point in the game and how he wanted his team to be like them. What he says and what he does are completely inconsistent.

Garrett coaches like a backup QB. Plays not to lose and usually does.

By draft time, Lynch will be the No. 1 quarterback and will likely go before the fourth pick. But I wouldn't go up to get him.
No. 4 is too high for Goff and definitely too high for Wentz. I'd trade down or pick the best player on the board not an OL.

I'm for using the pick on the best player not an OL, preferring a player in the defensive trenches. I do think I'd strongly consider drafting a QB at the top of the second, though, although I would like to take Henry there if he's available.

I'm good with that plan. But I agree with you. We've got to get a bell-cow running back. We can't ignore that position in the draft.

This is what Cowboys fans will be saying about allowing their kids to root for them soon, if they aren't already.

Brandon Weeden is 2-0 with the Texans and was 0-4 with the Cowboys let that sink in. He's had passer ratings of 95.8 and 116.7 in his 2 starts with the Texans and he has a 3-0 TD to turnover ratio.

Tightens up the margin for error and improves the chances of landing better talent. It appears they're gonna have to out talent every team if they want to win in this league

Exactly...........the rationale has been explained multiple times on this board why a higher draft pick is better than winning glorified preseason games.

The Cowboys dumping Weeden was the best thing that could have happened to him instead of sitting home for the playoffs he has a chance to start a playoff game. Just imagine the stir it will cause on this board if he leads the Texans to a playoff win. lol

The biggest thing is we'll be in great position to really reinforce two positions in those first couple of rounds and possibly get another starter or at least strong contributor in the third.

We need to be wise with those draft picks wherever that leads us ... and I think it would be poor use of the position that we're in to trade down. You don't get to draft in the top five very often when you have a QB like Romo.

We can get one of the top-five players available (probably the No. 1 guy at his position) and also end up with a player as good as Frederick or Lawrence if we draft wise.

Frankly, if we come out as good as we did in 2014 with an equivalent to Martin and Lawrence, that would be great.

One reason I believe we should go defense with that first pick is because of the position we're in in the draft. We rarely get that shot at the No. 1 DE or No. 1 DT available and adding that piece could help this defense take the next step.

With the RB spot, I haven't really looked at who is available, but it's possible we could get a starter-quality back in the third, but if we have a first-round quality one there at the top of the second, I'd have difficulty passing on him.
