Yeah they’re really talking about it. I’m confused as to what happened and I wish they would focus on what happened. Did 2 people report? Did the ref not hear Decker? Was it still a legal play if he did report, Ala illegal formation?

We did catch a break tho. If I was a Lions fan I’d be pretty angry, unless I heard clarification about the play.

Let’s say the refs screwed up and reported to the defense the wrong guy. Let’s say, instead of reporting 70, which they clearly did, they reported 68, don’t you think maybe we then cover 68 instead of 70 and he’s not wide open? If the refs screwed up, then it hurt us too.

Like the way the defense held in together. They stuffed a bunch of runs when it counted. 2 and 13s. Lawrence was posessed. Lions had a couple long drives that would wear out a D late. But they made plays late
Didn't hurt that their speed receiver went out late in the game, either....

Nova---we show too much undisciplined play ....we will get the 5th seed play the bucs and probably win but then we have to play 9ers....come on....i know the Ravens dismantled them...but we dont have defense they do....that fumble by CeeDee should not result in touchback that is the dumbest rule....but when Parsons was offsides i went crazy...we have too many presnap pentalties that hurt us....Ok we won in the end but it should not have been that close....we have the players to be contenders...its the coaches that dont put fear of God in em like Jimmy or Parcells
Right on brother.

the other thing that drove me nuts was Parsons going against Sewell on the last drive on every snap.

How senseless is it to have Parsons going against their best lineman?

it's rigged, the refs let us win to continue the Jimmy celebration. Is this how it goes? :D

Break? It was a foul easily. .
Of course it was, because it was against the opponents. It's amazing how accurate the refs are when they make calls against the other teams.

But when it is against Dallas they're either blind, corrupt, or both.

A call went our way. It's okay to accept that.

im sorry

are some of yall really thinking the penalty on the lions was unwarranted?

Linemen have to report as eligible and the refs have to announce it this has been a rule since i started watching football in 91 and was a rule before then as well

yall are fans? of what?

Mike McCarthy's decision to call a pass play on 2nd down, especially considering the Lions had only one timeout left, was a tactical misstep. In that situation, a running play would have been more prudent, potentially shaving off an additional 45 seconds from the clock. Essentially, the game could have concluded within two snaps. This incident underscores a recurring issue with McCarthy's clock management skills. It's not the first time this year that such decisions have nearly cost us a game. It's imperative for McCarthy to address and address his clock managements shortcomings. Just a terrible call along with Dan Quin playing prevent defense with the middle of the field wide open.
I could not agree more and said same to buddies during the game. Let's also not forget the stupidity of telling Dak not to snap the ball with a little over 2 minutes left in the first half, even though the play clock had 1 second less than the game clock and, hence, we got a delay penalty. Did not bite us because Dan Campbell for some unknown reason decided to go for it on 4th down near the end of the first half instead of kicking the FG. Those 3 points would have been real handy at the end of the game for Detroit. But, McCarthy, as you stated, seems to have repeated issues with clock management. I don't think he's going to be able to correct it in the offseason; he is what he is at this point.

This crowd is so invested in "the refs are out to get us" that they can't acknowledge the one time we actually caught a break from them.

They resort to defending the refs, the very people they blame every other week.
And you are so invested in shutting us all up for your own ego. Sorry Mr. Control Freak, you don't get to shut anyone up.

You can just choose to put me on ignore and get this, you can STAY OUT OF REF TALK THREADS. Seriously, you may not have been aware of that fact.

When the refs make the right call it is natural and logical to defend them.

The more you know. :lmao::lmao::lmao:

I actually don’t think we’d have to play SF of we win first week. One of those wild card teams will win.
