Game Day Cowboys vs Packers post game thread

According to ESPN Stats and Info, Crosby entered Sunday’s game 0-for-4 on potential game-tying or go-ahead field goals from 50-plus yards in the fourth quarter or overtime.

I will say this, the Cowboys know how to take away the best RB in the league, to bad it was their own. What a crock by linehan. What is it witih this team, GB and getting away from what works.

We rested him the last six quarters of the season for what? It's like he's an afterthought to our coaching staff. I hope we figure out how to properly use Zeke over the offseason.

Bingo. We still don't know how to use him. 3rd and 2 a few times and we didn't use him.

Side note: Too many empty sets with no back. Could have thrown McFadden back there for looks even if they were intent on throwing it.

This team was fading. Lost three of its last five. Throw out the Eagles game and they were still only .500 over their last four games.

That 56 yard knuckleballer he kicked was the real killer. If had missed that, Cowboys have the ball at the 46, driving for a game winning FG.

Throw out the Eagles game and we were 3-1 over the last 4 games. If we had "played" against Philly, it would've been 4-1 over the last five. The Cowboys weren't fading. They just turned it down once HFA was secured, which may have been a no-no.

Not so much:

@ NYG - L
vs. TB -- W
vs. DET -- W
vs. GB -- L

Well, adios Tony. The toughest thought for me right now is knowing how little pay off they got from his career, and that he has almost certainly played his last game here, possibly anywhere.

The defense stunk in 2006...and in 2016 it's still in the crapper.

Can they build from this? Of course. But that's been true the whole time, and they've yet to field a true championship defense.

Ultimately, these winter playoff games are won or lost when it's warm outside.
