Each one of his interceptions knocks the value of those yards down by quite a bit. Dak made some very bad throws when he was dumping the ball off and he dumped the ball off too often. There was no excuse for throwing the last interception when it was only third down. He also displayed poor pocket awareness throughout the game by stepping into the pressure instead of rolling out. He should watch Wilson’s tapes to see how to be an elite QB. Once again he failed against a quality team. Paying him 40 million a year would make the DLaw , Zeke and Jaylon contracts look like bargains when comparing value to productivity.

What value is there in a 33 touchdown, 11 interception season? That’s what he did last year and is likely to do this year.

what’s that worth?

That last one too? If you think that, you're practicing willful ignorance of everything that led up to that desperation throw.

It's all on him. Nobody else on the entire team stepped up outside of Dak. If he doesn't make the plays that he does, we're never even IN IT.

No. The one who threw that horrible interception to seal the win for the Seahawks needs to play better. But please continue to deflect the blame from Dak.

Dude come on. We have to go for it on that down or the next to get a TD to (hopefully) tie the game. They know we need a TD. There's no way we get in the end zone without taking a risk.

It’s weird. I remember Dre from the ranch and I always respected his football knowledge. I didn’t know he went to die on the Garrett hill though.

strange...

it was time to move on bruh...

it was too toxic in Dallas him to return, but man this team's issue ain't the coach.

It's ALL on him though. If he doesn't carry the entire rest of the team, the game is never even close. Very similar to what Romo had to deal with. That's why the team was a total disaster when they didn't have Romo.

It's just too much on any ONE player.

I can get with this. As you know I’m not against Dak. I like him as our QB. His games are so uneven at times. I trust your thoughts And we have O talent so what do you think is the issue...poorly designed offense?

I think a lot of the team’s issues are having to deal with critical injuries in key positions and learning on the fly because of COVID and a shortened training camp with no preseason. I don’t want to see a death spiral of media criticism towards MM after three games.

I’ve seen bright spots. Haven’t you?

Of course we need a TD. There wasn't a chance in hell that any Cowboy had a chance to catch that pass in the end zone.

this is where I’m at I think. He’s going to drop stats that are going to get him paid and he’s a good leader and tough kid. I want him as the QB.

The Dak haters want him to be Tom Brady as if that’s a legitimate excuse that has any meaning whatsoever. He’s going to get paid and he’s a very good young NFL QB. To be mad he’s not Wilson or Brady like some of these fans is equivalent to a toddler tantrum. We have our QB of the future. We have to build the team around him with his skill set in mind which is what we have done.

Well said!

How top tier was Aikman when Emmitt didn't show up? Zeke 14 rushes, 34 yards. 3 catches, zero yards. Is Zeke worth his money?
No, Zeke is definitely not worth the money.
Do you think Dak is Top Tier???
Is, different from could be, should be, would like for him to be...

Dallas needs to hold a lead and cut out the undisciplined errors.
This Cardiac Cowboys show will not hold up in the playoffs.

We are an onside kick away from being 0-3.

How much do you think Garrett was really holding this team back?
Garrett needed to go, but I felt like the players are the problem and no coach will look good with these players who are mentally weak and stupid. Jimmy Johnson hated dumb players and he would die from a stress related heart attack if he had to coach these dummies.

We’ve got to get our line issues resolved. The good news is that we can do that and while we are waiting to get healthy guys are getting thrown to the fire and hopefully developing into quality depth.

Yup, last those last minute wins are not the way to count on a successful season.

I think that there are a LOT of issues. Plenty before we get to trying to blame it on the quarterback.

I'd start with a defense that can't stop anything. Run, pass, pass rush, can't hold a lead. Not only did they give up the lead with a touchdown, they gifted a two point conversion while they were at it.

They put the offense in a position of zero margin for error.

Then I'd look at special teams that bungled a kickoff that led to a safety and loss of a possession and then blew two extra points.

The quarterback's mistakes are way down that lost.

If he doesn't make the plays that he does, the Cowboys are never even in that game.

Frustrating to see all the illegal contact calls made against our defense on crucial plays today yet the Seahawks were doing the same things and seeing the same contact go with no flag in all these other games.

the refs were not very good today but that’s the standard for the NFL. They have the worst collection of officials in all of professional sports and it’s not even close. Every team deals with this though.
