I would just swap 2nds with Cleveland and give them Leary. Then draft Myles Jack since Dr. Andrews gave him the word today that he won't need micro fracture surgery. You want Leary on the bench or Myles Jack?
Throw in a fourth! Get Jack!

Why would you give away a starting caliber NFL guard to move up two spots?

I would love to get a 3rd or high 4th for Leary, then use it on Dak Prescott or another QB. Avoid using our own picks on a QB.

Probably a 5. I don't see why a team would pass up drafting an interior lineman and having him for cheap for 4 years as opposed to having leary for one year at a slightly higher salary.

I would keep leary until final cuts and maximize his value. Sounds like he isn't thrilled with the situation though so they may be forced to move him.

I would call the bears and ask if they would swap Leary for Willie Young....I do not know young's salary number however.

looked it up its 3.16 million for this season and his dead money for chi if traded is 2.5 million

Without the knee Jack is a top 5 pick in this draft. Leary's gone after this year anyway.

Call up Chicago offer leary for Willie Young.

over the cap says Willie young is making 3.16 million for this year and his dead money via trade for Chicago is 2.5 million.

Not sure they would do that but he would sure fill a need here right away.

Trade him to the giants for their first rd pick next year. If they think Eli Apple is worth a high first rd pck, then leary should be too lol

If Leary is valued as a mid-4th rounder, that's 70 points. Add in our our #67 (255 pts) and #101 (96 pts) = 421 pts

That gets us to the mid-2nd round, around pick #48, in theory.

If nobody wants Leary, I'd give up next year's 4th round pick in a heartbeat.

I would take a 4th for him. People asking for a 2nd...for a guard (only 1 has come off the board in this draft)....on a one year contract....with a degenerative knee issue are crazy.

I am saying that he will bring in a 4th round pick at the most since he is only signed for 1 year. Most likely a 5th round pick since he will be a free agent next year. If he had multiple years left on his contract then maybe we get a 3rd round value.

I'd say Leary and a 6th could get you into the 5th round, possibly late 4th if you throw in a late pick next year as well.

from what I am hearing. Dallas looking to move back few spots from #34 (still have handful of 1st round grades on players). Also got offers for Leary but want better deals as players drop and teams get desperate to move up. If Dallas stays put (#34) they will take Dodd or Ogbah.

Bears do not need a guard. They loaded up there in free agency.
