Cowboys willing to listen to offers for Leary **merged**

Right now with Elliott, Morris and McFadden I personally think Dunbar is not needed !!!

I would simply carry the 3 RB's you have small dollars tied up in Morris and McFadden
so that's no big deal !!!

Trade Morris, Dunbar and Mcfadden and draft Paul Perkins.

I think he is worth a 3rd. Obviously he was not worth a 2nd, if so another team could have signed him to a restricted offer.

Since the rumor is Dallas wanting to trade up to #32. And without sacrificing draft picks. Would you do this.

Swap 2nds, and send Leary to Cleveland for a 3rd and a 4th or 5th?
Or something similar with another team. If we go lower, then we get a 4th instead of a 5th. Or a pick next year.

I have not looked at the trade charts yet to see what teams we could trade with, but Leary wants to start. So it needs to be a team that needs OL.

I am one who does not want to lose Leary but with this Myles Jack news I offer Leary plus some to get that pick

I would be fine with a 2nd or 3rd especially with how many great players are still on board

You hang on to him. He is your backup tackle. The only way I trade him is if I can grab a pick at the top of the second.

One, you aren't getting a high 2nd for him. That's just Cowboys homerism at work.

Two, he's your backup OG and you just signed a guy who can fill that role. If OT becomes an issue, Green or even Collins moving out is the backup at OT.

You get a third for him, you'd be wise to make that move.

I meant bundling him to get a high second. (we have four running backs now)

I would just swap 2nds with Cleveland and give them Leary. Then draft Myles Jack since Dr. Andrews gave him the word today that he won't need micro fracture surgery. You want Leary on the bench or Myles Jack?
Throw in a fourth! Get Jack!

Cowboys Receive Calls for Ronald Leary what do you think value wise he would be worth far as
Draft Pick Compenstion goes ? 2nd, 3rd or ?

Unfortunately the Cowboys will essentially have to take whatever they can get for Leary. I don't think they desire to pay him nearly 3 mil to wear shorts and sweater on gameday. Looney is the active backup interior OL now given he plays both G and C.

Hopefully they can get a 4th but likely will be closer to a 5th.

Bundle dude, bundle. We have four running backs and many lower level picks.

A team gets a guard and a running back plus maybe a lower level pick. This way, they get two proven players now plus a pick back for the 2nd round pick.

I agree, with Elliot's receiving ability Dunbar is the odd man out.

I like this idea and I'd do 3rd, no less. He's gone next year and hes a starter for anyone.
