not trueLol what? Cowherd was always supporting Romo even before it became popular in 2014.

Cowherd was actually very reasonable in the full discussion and on top of it said Dak is a 10 year starter/will improve this year. He argued our schedule is just tougher and teams won't overlook us like they may have with a rookie 4th rounder starting early in the season. I haven't liked him since he left ESPN and I know many of you didn't like him at all then but he wasn't being a blowhard Steven A or Skip.
Eh, ypg Dallas was #1.
Here's some stats for that stacked offense that can score points in bunches.
26th in points.
25th in yards.
29th in rushing yards.
32nd in rushing TDs.
Brandon Marshall must be one heck of a player. Sucks his yards dropped 50% from 15, TDs went from 14 to 3 and he was second in the league in drops.
Per Colin Cowherd and Vegas, the Cowboys will be a 9-7 team ( the fourth best in the NFC).

I personally find this article odd, all the sites sports betting sites I've visited have the Cowboys second or third only to the Patriots to win the Super Bowl.
It has a lot to do with it, sadly.
Why not compare him to Andrew Luck? His skillset is much closer to Andrew Luck's than it is to Foles or RGIII. Foles was mediocre from the jump. RGIII succeeded as an option running QB in a gimmick offense.
Dak is a pocket passer with mobility, a la Andrew Luck. Similar build, similar measurables, and it's played out thus far - similar football IQ.
I also like how you put on your cape for Colin Cowherd - way to go. Taking the bait of the premiere shock jock in sports radio today.
Who overlooks teams in the NFL? You only get 16.
So Cowherd knew RG3 would wash out in 5 years after his great rookie season? Nonsense
I would never watch CowturdDid you watch the clip or not? RG3 had washed out of the league before Dak ever set foot on the field. RG3's "great rookie season" included two serious injuries and a playing style that would never work in the league.
I would never watch Cowturd
NonsenseProbably right, we didn't do much to improve this off-season.
Nonsense
And large improvement will come from within the team.
Dak will be better
Elliot will be better
Collins will be better
Brown will be better
Irving will be better
Taco will provide an upgrade to some degree
That will equal improvement
Getting rid of Doug Free is an improvement and I like Doug Free!!
Yup, a lot of assumptions. You realize this is the same thing every team can say?

Luckily for us, if Dak stinks it up this season, this draft class is looking to be one of the best QB draft classes in quite some time. Could possibly end up being better than 2012. Not exactly the worst year to find out what Dak really is and have a down season.
Good post! These are valid points. Nobody should get upset by them. It will take team of warriors to run thru that schedule and 2nd year of QB is usually best indicator of future production. I think Dak will be fine but unless Dallas discovers a pass rushing presence it will be touch-n-go week to week this year. Arrow is pointing up.
