Flacco had the greatest playoff run ever for a QB while getting zero defensive help.

Hurts was 2nd in MVP voting and accounted for 4 TDs in the Super Bowl.

but none of those guys are elite. they didn't have elite seasons prior. They just caught fire at the right time.
foles was cinderalla. he was nothing before and after that end of season run, ended up in backup QB, which is what's his role. he had strong team around him.

Flacco was an average QB. benefited from a good team around him, great defenses. strong running game, great coaching.

Hurts had the best OL in the league. top 3 WR group. top 5 TE. top 3 running game. top 3 defense. he had probably the best supporting cast and helped maximize it. Prior two years he was average and the GM build a strong team around him.

Jimmy G made it to the superbowl as the starting QB of SF. aren't you the one who keeps talking about Rush and his 4-1 record? now you want to dismiss Grapolo?

you only hope is that Dak is not capable of catching fire, or benefit from a strong team around him.

I just pointed out that there has been teams who have done it without elite QBs.
the challenge for the Bash Dak over Dallas Cult is that their only solution is to have an Elite QB. they can't see it being done any other way. they are blind.

is it easier to have an elite QB? Of course. but its not impossible if you don't. that's 20% of superbowl participants and winners with non-elite QBs. we can include Manning in Denver, at which point in his career he was very average.

to you and those like you. its black and white. its Elite QB or bust.
