Curious as to where Colin was wrong? What exactly did he say that isn't trut? Are there hurt feelings because he is bang on? Do we not look like a bunch of chickens with our heads cut off in these same last minute games over the years? Does MM have no clue how to manage time in these types of games over the years? Curious, and asking for a friend
The part about the Eagles looking like a well-oiled machine at the end. They were stumbling all over themselves.
They bumped into each other to fumble the ball.
They had a big DPI.
They had a roughing the passer penalty.
They completely left CD Open.
They had a offsides.

They were keystone capers until Dallas said, "hold our beers."

My biggest thing is taking sacks. THROW THE BALL AWAY!

Or throwing 3 yard passes on 3rd and 7, when our YAC’s sucks!
This is probably my biggest gripe with Dak. The dude pretty much refuses to throw the ball away when a play isn't there. He's done it his whole career. Definitely makes me question his overall football intel. or just general awareness. Romo did similar things sometimes so I had an issue with it with him as well.

Yeah, okay Cowherd, the Philly defense was perfectly coordinated as they committed three penalties on the Cowboys last drive for 56 yards. That's the way every fan should want their defense to play like.

Gimme a break. You might find a few Cowboys fans feeling sorry for themselves enough to accept this garbage as unbiased opinion. However, a distinct trend revealed itself long ago. Similar to so many others, there's no limit to how far you will sacrifice fairness for market share.

He stated throughout that monologue that the Iggles gave us every opportunity to win the game, and we couldn't. He is indeed gaga over that team like many are, but I am simply stating his points about Dallas are bang on. His love for the Eagles is obnoxious

The Cowboys are not good closers on the bigger stages.

We are able to take it to the brink. We lead the horse to the water but just can’t get across.

It’s definitely a problem . And until we get this enormous monkey off our backs it’s going to continue being called out. And rightfully so.

Time will tell. I’m sure we’ll get more opportunities.
That water hole is called "Quick Sand Jerry". :muttley:

Actually, the better team did not win Sunday that is my concern with this team. As much as I want to think otherwise, we are the better team and continually find ways to lose, and that is what Colin and others have said about this team for years (which is true). The 9ers played their game of a lifetime against us and we played the worst we can.
And what makes you think the better team didn’t win? Because on paper they are the better team. They have the better coaches. Better ownership. The only **** we have is Dak outplaying Hurts and that wasn’t enough. Not saying we can’t beat them because we can. But they are 8-1 not by luck.

the feeling will be hurt.
dak chokes again like in big games. Who cares how he played the most part of the game? Those last seconds are what will define him forever. go dakie....
......then he is like someone we're all familiar with in the QB position. Hmmm.

They are very much 8-1 by some luck IMO. Their pass defense has been awful, they are banged up, and their QB is a shell of his play from last year. Sunday night there is no denial in my mind that we were the better team, but again fell short. Don't forget the better team doesn't always win, but the smarter one does and did

And yet he got this right. The Eagles find ways to win games while the Cowboys find ways to lose them. It's been that way for a few years now.
this is not a new for the cowboys until they learn to win these type of games they are not going anywhere

Yeah, I’m not saying one’s better than the other, but honestly, had Romo been in that first and goal scenario with :27 left, I would have felt more confidence. But I also think our playcalling is suspect at times.

While I don't think Philly was a 100% coordinated well oiled machine (weakness in the secondary and linebacker, giving us 61 of the 86 yards on the last drive with penalties) they did manage to win and once again we managed to lose. There is sometging to be said for getting big plays when you need them. Poor decision making, poor execution, poor clock management and poor play calling when you need it most and against the teams you need to beat is not new for us. Let's be honest, Dak had a good game but so far this year defense and special teams points were responsibe for our wins. McCarthy doesn't have what it takes and history has shown neither does Dak. May be a better bus driver than Purdy but not much.

Cowherd is absolutely right in regards to the end of games for this team.

They are a disorganized mess.

And the coach and quarterback are to blame. Mike’s time management and play calling is head scratching for a veteran coach.

Prescott gets so nervous and skittish in those situations that it affects the entire offense.

Man, you can see it in his face.

Just numb to all of this.

It really is what to expect from this team.

And has been.

Well oiled machine? How many penalties and yards did they give up on a 46 second drive with 0 timeouts?

yes, Dallas shot themselves in the foot, but the Eagles were far from perfect.
Eagles did not play well. Didn't they lose their OC?

Yeah not sure how you can say Philly is well oiled when they won by 5 pts mostly due to our own blunders.

Both teams had sloppy moments.

Tennessee has a young developmental quarterback they were not trading King Henry for day three picks. When is the board going to get that through their heads. Henry was not available unless someone offered a Kings ransom.
We only have 11.x mill in free cap

I never agree with Cowherd but he pretty much nailed it on this one. When we have a shot late in big games we look like the Keysone Cops.

Unfortunately, he's right! It was the stupid penalties and plays that did the Cowboys in. Whereas, the Eagles also had they fair share of the same but when it counted, they bowed their backs and pulled out a victory which is how elite teams do it and the Cowboys are not an elite team.
