Along with A&M, if you play them again this year :D

no, but we play nebraska also so maybe another big 12 foe will go down. we don't duck anyone. if the check will clear, we will show up.

I'm just calling a spade a spade. He's acting like an idiot, and I'm treating him like one.

I'm not going to argue with a sophomore in college

Technically a junior :)

Gawd here comes another 5 pages of bickering on who's better. Texas A&M or Texas Tech. GREAT!

Let's just all agree that Texas owns them both..and now I'll go back to lurking. Good day.

LOL. I'll stop posting in this thread, just for Slate. But for YOU? This is my parting shot :)

I seem to remember that 2010 is an uncapped year. Am I wrong? If 2010 is an uncapped year, it seems to me that holding out for a year might be of financial benefit to him in that he might be able to get more money than the amount slotted to a 10th pick in the first round.

If there's going to be a rookie salary cap it doesn't seem to be in 2010.

He may just come out with more money by holding out if next year is uncapped.

Calling Adam JT13...calling Adam JT13...calling Adam JT13.

There's no benefit to sitting out. He should just play football.

That was Tech's first win over Texas in 6 years. I am glad they showed up to last year's game against Texas, unlike their Bowl game....

Everybody enjoys beating daddy because it doesn't happen often.

Eh, I appreciate you jumping in with that as there is plenty of room on the Crabtree bandwagon since im pretty much the driver and the passengers at the same time lol.

But those guys didn't want to play for particular teams. Crabtree's braintrust is encouraging him to hold out solely for more money.

Yeah and his Brain Trust is his cousin. He needs to go to that class where they teach you to dump your "friends" and "family members" that each NFL team does at the draft!

He's solid, but he needs to sign...he's way behind missing OTA's etc.

I know Crabtree....he'll sign....and he surely is NO diva!

BTW not wanting to play in a city is more "DIVA" then holding out for more money in my book!!!

They just pay better! Let's be honest!

Genius. Sit out this year, and make no money.

Then re-enter the draft, and probably get drafted no higher than you did this time, with a chance you slip even further and ultimately wind up with less money.

Basically empty trheat if you ask me. He'll sign.

This little punk should be slapped around a little. Where are his parents? Nobody in his family is telling Him to be humble with what you got and not take anything for granted?

I hope He sits out and gets less money. He's not even that good. Lucky He went 10 in a weak *** wr draft class.

Yeah he is definitely putting the cart before the horse.
