They were never going to pay Murray, people really need to let this Murray thing go because RBs are still a dime a dozen in this league. Outside of AD, McCoy & Lynch i don't know who would require a big time contract.

They are a dime a dozen but we are without a dime and went through a dozen.

I don't know what EE means, but my first name is Eli and everybody who knows me calls me E so I feel good about the first half of this.
I dislike that the QB of the Giant's is named after me, but I don't blame his father for worshiping such a playmakuh as myself so I can forgive him this time around.

Now- what is EE?

We couldn't afford Murray because this wouldn't be possible. Or at least this or the next upcoming signings wouldn't be possible or having Hardy...

Not to mention, it is smart not to sign 27 yo Rbs coming off 500 touch seasons to huge money at a position of minimal importance.

Well we will see.

Hatcher should be considered an interior defensive lineman for purposes of that discussion, and I'd take Hatcher but for the age. But I wouldn't have paid Hatcher this kind of money at any point in his career.

And that's fine. I imagine there are half a dozen or so that I have not considered but that still puts him at about 15. Top guys get $15m-$19m. I think he is a tier below and he gets paid a tier below.

My woman is going through her last semester of that. She is so smart (she was a geo-physicist with a Masters ((been on NatGeo and was an authority on volcanoes)) before this) and even this is very involved for her.

You at that hospital near the race track off of 35? I think that's a military hospital, but I haven't been there in so long...

Much respect for what you do Fuzz. I just write things to make people smile, hopefully from day to day. You literally save lives.

I worked this out a few weeks ago when it was first reported they might be signing Crawford long term. The top 25-30 or so interior lineman (by production) average about $4 million a year. It's pretty heavy top loaded by a couple contracts though. Wish I would have saved that spreadsheet but at $9 million it means they certainly think he's a top 5-10 player, at least, which unfortunately is purely based on potential at this point.

Wish I was: it's a more steady paycheck.
Writing for a living is... for the adrenaline junkie.

I'm not one, either. Just lived with/became friends with quite a few in college.

I'm in the retirement industry. Let's just say the past month has been "fun."

If you don't mind me asking, fiction or non fiction. Feel free to not answer that question. It's not really any of my business.

Both. I run a fledgling writer's studio and we have multiple deals going on. 4 fiction, 2 non-fiction.
It's very involved and I do wish I had more down-time, but I w/couldn't do anything else so my complaining is all moot.

I also deal in the investment business.
Not as a pro, but as a guy who likes to have his money make money and this last month has been truly...
"fun"

I just moved my stuff to bio-tech and right now I'm very happy.

What you say? I'm certainly interested.

Sometimes you just have to take the risk and gamble on a guy.
