Not exactly Owens' fault Romo threw the Steeler game away.

Literally.

Owens can't block for Romo either.

Lots of problems. Not all related to Owens.

Did you forget the first interception where Owens took a vacation at the end of his route, leading to an easy pick?

Use common sense. If you have the luxury of catching an interview, kindly post a recap.

Some of us are employed and don't have access to the television. Therefore, when you just post "TO ON TV! HE IN LOCKER ROOM! HAHAHA" that is pretty useless to... everyone.

I'm just assuming Romo threw the ball more than once that game.

When I made the thread, it was just beginning. Nothing to recap.

And my first priority was to let others know in case they wanted (and could) tune in to watch it.

Recap was secondary.

I'd rather watch it live than read a recap. I assume others would, if given the chance. So I made the first post as quickly as I could to let others know.

fair enough. next time, post "recap to follow"

also, get a job you slob/bum

It's funny, Galloway has always been a huge Crayton fan, going back to his rookie year when he started to show something. Even always called him the new Drew Pearson (former college QB, late/not drafted, etc.)

But the last few weeks, he's totally changed his tune and says Crayton has to go because TO has gotten to him. He says Miles Austin is the one receiver who hasn't bought into TO's BS. Even Mosley said that when TO and Crayton and Roy W were sort of huddled up and going their own ways on things, Miles kind of said "Thanks but no thanks" and went about his business on his own.

These guys know so much more than they can say in print. Wish they could tell it all, but they can't.

Interesting stuff, and I'm not surprised.

If TO goes, Crayton would head back over to the rest of the team. He has a mouth on him, but he is not a lead dog. Roy #11 has not been with the team long enough (or performed well enough) to have any clout either. That side huddle would quickly diminish if TO were to walk.

they asked what the perception of TO is in the lockerroom.

crayton: he's brings so much energy, and make u want to work harder and win. he's a mentor and works with the younger guys.

does TO respect garrett and do u see them working together?

he does to a degree. and yes i can see them working together , but there has to be a sit down between then
. no sugar coating and u cant be affraid to hurt somebodys feelings. lay it all out.

do u expect TO in dallas 09.

yes i do, but its not up to me.

Coaches coach ...players play.....why should Garrett have to have a sit down with this Diva?......tell him to shut up and play or keep talkin and leave

Patrick Crayton, as you would expect, stuck up for his pal T.O. during a live appearance on SportsCenter.
Crayton said the chemistry in the Cowboys' locker room was "just fine," although he contradicted that statement later in the interview. He raved about T.O. being a "great influence" who makes the players around him work harder.
"He pushes you," Crayton said, "because you see greatness and you want to get to that level."
After some harping about Ed Werder's unnamed sources, the interview really got interesting when Crayton was asked about T.O.'s relationship with the coaching staff.
"By the end of the season, I would say maybe a little rocky," Crayton said. "A little rocky because I think sometimes when you sit down and you have man-to-man talks, I know Terrell is one of those guys who is not going to bite his tongue, and if you're not going to be straightforward with him, there's not going to be a respect there. If you're not going to shoot him straightforward when he's shooting you straightforward and being honest ...

"He's one of those guys, like several other players, we wear our hearts on our sleeve. When it comes time to get business done on the field, that's what we're about. If you're not going to be straightforward, you're going to lose some respect there. They always say respect is earned; it's not given. You have to earn the respect of a player like that."
Does T.O. respect Jason Garrett?

"I think he respects him to a degree," Crayton said. "I'm not sure exactly. You really have to ask him how much he really respects him totally. I'm not sure if he respects him totally because of some of the comments and some of the things that happened throughout the season."
Can T.O. and Garrett work together again?
"Yeah, I think you could definitely see them working together," Crayton said. "But, like I said, that's going to have to be a man-to-man sit-down talk. It's going to have to be no sugarcoating. Everything has to be laid out on the line. You can't be afraid to hurt somebody's feelings, because it's going to have to be said in order for us to move on and be back to the form when had in 2007 when we were 13-3 and we were on the brink of making history again.
"This past season was just really, really disappointing, just because we had all the talent but we didn't have that one thing we needed to get us over the hump, and that was some togetherness."
Most folks can agree with Crayton's last statement. The debate is whether getting rid of T.O. would help the team's togetherness.
Crayton clearly doesn't think so. Too bad ESPN couldn't get Tony Romo to make an appearance.

Interesting.

What does Crayton know?

He isn't in the locker room.

Here's what I love about the T.O. fan club.

You mention nothing about the FACT that Crayton just said the relationship between T.O. and the coaching staff was ROCKY at the end of the season.

After some harping about Ed Werder's unnamed sources, the interview really got interesting when Crayton was asked about T.O.'s relationship with the coaching staff.

"By the end of the season, I would say maybe a little rocky," Crayton said. If you're not going to be straightforward, you're going to lose some respect there. They always say respect is earned; it's not given. You have to earn the respect of a player like that."

And then he went on to say that T.O. respects Jason Garrett 'to a degree'...

Does T.O. respect Jason Garrett?

"I think he respects him to a degree," Crayton said. "I'm not sure exactly. You really have to ask him how much he really respects him totally. I'm not sure if he respects him totally because of some of the comments and some of the things that happened throughout the season."

------------------------------

But let's leave all that out in trying to say that Crayton said nothing was wrong, lol.

And what history is Crayton talking about?

The history of being the first #1 seed to flop at home and not even win one playoff game?

I don't know anything about Roy, but this is what I'm gathering:

Crayton and TO noticed what most of us have: the offense was poorly designed. Does anyone want to question that judgment? Our offense was one of the absolute worst in the league during the second half of the year--even with Romo.

Crayton and TO, as Crayton said, don't like beating around the bush or buy into passive aggressiveness. They tried to tell their coach that the plan wasn't a good one.

Garrett didn't change one bit. he did the exact same thing from week to week. Jim Johnson and Ed Reed obviously thought it was a joke of a scheme, but Crayton and TO are bad guys for pointing out the problem before they did?

My conclusion:

Sorry. I want guys like Crayton and TO on the team. I'd rather have bad coaches run out of town by good players who promote dialogue than bring in passive players who don't question bad coaches.

JMO from some little hints and innuendo on the radio, but I think part of the reason TO might go is that they're afraid TO is going to influence him too much. Apparently he already has to some degree, and I think they're afraid the guy they just made a huge investment in has the potential to become a TO Junior. But like you say, he's so new here that if TO were cut now, the damage wouldn't be permanent.

I know that'll get the TO Defense Crew's dander up, but *if* the team thinks TO is undermining the QB and the offensive coordinator, you can see why that thinking would make sense.

I want TO gone. And if Crayton can't get in line, I'd ship him out too.

Seems like a pretty fair assessment to me.
