I've seen a lot of posts indicating the belief that the nerve healing is an "all-or-nothing" thing -- not true.
Morning, Doc...it's so much easier to invest in a mood than from a depth of knowledge. :)

Just for the record, are you getting excited? I sure am...

We can't be that blessed to have him at 100%. Jaylon and Zeke in one draft is obscene.

Hey, Bud.

Smith's progress is definitely encouraging; at this point he's already one of the better athletes on the team, as I've previously opined.

He'll get to 95% almost certainly, and he'll still have the rookie on-field learning curve to overcome -- coverages, reads, chemistry, etc.

If he gets to 100%......................OMG (if Lee stays healthy).

maybe it's just me but trying to piece together JJ's choppy sentences to try and figure out what in the hell he's saying hurts my head. I'm thankful for the many here that understand and translate Jerry speak.

Thanks for your opinion void of any facts at all. Let us know when he can take the brace off and move his foot and then we can talk about him being anything above 80% of his former self. Until then, it's all hope, dreams, and wishful thinking.

I comprehend that smith still needs to wear the brace due to having no control of his foot. I don't care if Doc is the worlds #1 expert on nerve regeneration, he has no idea what % of his former self Jaylon will ever achieve so to stat he will certainly get to 95% is absurd on the face of it and nothing more than a guess, opinion, or wishful thinking. When he can move his foot and no longer needs the brace, then we can have those discussions and throw out numbers that are obtainable. At this point, him getting back to 95% is no more likely than him never playing a single down because no one knows if he will ever regain the use of his foot. I'm sure he will make a warriors attempt to play with the brace if it comes to that but we should all be prepared for major disappointment in that scenario.

I think he is saying nerve isnt firing, but we didnt make a mistake, he can play as is.
We got a # 1 for a # 2 pick.

I hope not because in that case we probably spent a #2 pick on a rookie free agent.

Who cares it's Jerry Jones and while they may be willing to trot a 1 1/2 legged man out on the field, there's no telling at what level he will play at.

Correct -- he's better than Wilber, Gatch, Zowie, et al right now. Just hasn't played in our D yet.

By camp, I think everyone will be happy with what he brings.
