Only if all you care about is a top 10 pick. That was an important win for us at the time. We were trying to stay in the playoff hunt, not in the hunt for a high draft pick.

At the time the win was awesome.

Now that we see where this season is going, it’s unfortunate they managed to win that one since we’re in the hunt for a top-5 or top-10 pick.

Two things can be true at the same time.

Cowboys have a very high rate of success with their first round picks. Even trading down and still getting their guy and another player.

Nice homework. Top 5 is a real possibility if we don’t let the giants lose to us.its sad to say but at this point tanking is the best option. And I don’t think I’ve ever said that

I also think there are 5 teams ahead of us that might be looking for a QB. Cleveland, Las Vegas, The Giants, Jets, and Tennessee might all be looking to take a QB. I will assume there will only be 3 worthy of a top 5 pick so someone will be disappointed. But it means Dallas should have a good shot at the best player at a number of positions.

I still think the Cowboys will trade down at least once. I'm advocating for twice. 4 picks on day 2 are needed.

I’m kind of with you . I really am ok trading Micah too. Something about getting a lot of premium picks for a guy soon to get a record breaking contract feels like the right thing to do in our situation,


We need like 5 overshown/kneel and types to reinvigorate the defense. Need a leader in the secondary too.

And obviously the offense same thing. Need like 5 starters (or major Improvments )next year

So you figure Tyler and bebe will be better.

Steele and Martin may be gone. Need replaced .
