Ben Johnson.
Im just not on Bill and just cant see Jerry wanting to give up control It would also mean will would go
If Bill picked a modern OC who was creative, Bill all the way…but that’s if Jerry let Bill do what he needed to do. The only thing I would want the same is the drafting for the most part, Bill hasn’t had the best history of drafting and we have a decent scouting department.

It will be Jon Gruden.
"Spider 2 Y Banana" will be the signature play that helps Dallas FINALLY defeat the 49ers, or not.

Jerry doesn't hire up and coming coaches.
That’s exactly what Gailey and Garrett were considered when hired.

I'll see your Garrett and Gailey (and even give you Campo) and raise you Jimmy Johnson, Barry Switzer, Bill Parcells, Wade Phillips and Mike McCarthy.

Garrett broke Jerry. He thought he had something there.

Good with the top 3. Please heck no on deion. You thought it was a circus now? I can't even imagine.

Slowick, ben Johnson and monken.
Todd Monken was very successful at Southern Miss in Hattiesburg. He’s a very nice guy. He ran the fastest offense we ever had. We haven’t been good since he left. But. I watched Dak at Miss State. He panicked in big games like he does now. He can’t figure out good defenses. Jerry way overpaid.

Let me know when there is a legitimate "Top candidates to replace Jerruh Jones" discussion. Until then, I have very little care about Magic Mike's replacement

Johnson is going to be the hottest assistant in many years. The openings will likely be Cowboys, Giants, Jets, Browns, Saints. Off that list, I would honestly say the Cowboys have the worst overall roster on that list. But the Browns are the only team worse off than us at QB as far as contracts go. If I’m Johnson, if I can send Rodgers and Adams packing I want to go the NYJ.

Philly and Jacksonville will be looking for new head coaches, as well.

My top picks

** Belichick
** Arron Glenn
** Vrabel

Wildcard........Bill Callhan
Don't laugh, no coach knows the trenches as well as this guy. He's the Andy Reid, Shanahan or Belichick of OLine coaches. Want a coach to fix the run on both sides of the ball, this is your guy.

The Dallas Cowboys still have at least 11 games left in their 2024 season. The mood, however, is pretty grim as the club exits their bye week. Sitting at 3-3, the club will return to the safety of the road for their next contest, a remarkable turnabout from how things have been the last two seasons. Somehow, the pressure of being at home has become too much for the organization, falling woefully behind in four contests (dating back to the wild-card game) and only making one of them competitive.

Honorable Mentions:

Dan Pritchard, Cincinnati Bengals OC
Ryan Grubb, Seattle Seahawks OC
Adam Stenovich, Green Bay Packers OC
Ejiro Evero, Carolina Panthers, DC

No idea why people think MM is going to be replaced. He isn’t.

Jerry values people he knows or those who have been HCs. I think Belichick goes to the Giants so the top 2 likely candidates are Vrabel and Glenn.

Last night I also wondered…. Does Jerry call Lane Kiffin given his NFL ties, his dad worked here and he almost went to the Vikings last year? Kiffin is Jerry 30 years younger.

I think Belichick goes to the Giants
I'm not sure about that at all coz of their recently hired young GM, Joe Schoen. I don't see Belichick taking orders from him, especially if he has a chance to work directly with Jerry (GM). Besides, the word is he thinks highly of Dak. With the Giants, he's working with Daniel Jones or drafted rookie......

Hmmm ...interesting
Def a lot of connection and motivation........if we go to college route. He would have Saban's backing but I'm hearing Florida State wants him really bad.

Lots of good candidates.

It's tempting to say that we should focus solely on some offensive mastermind. But we can get that at OC too. As long as the HC we hire knows talent and gives them the freedom to run the offense (see: Dan Campbell, Dan Quinn).

I'd like to see Glenn as HC. He's done a great job in Detroit, and they've drafted so many good defensive players.

Unfortunately, I don't think this will be a real search (it will be like last time). Jerry wants Bill, Bill wants Dallas, and that's the end of the story. It's not the world's worst scenario, but you have to be concerned about the offense and the drafting under BB.

I will agree it's one thing to have great talent but you have to fit all pieces in the right place or to their strength. He is doing a good job of that, give him credit but just not enough skin on the wall for me, especially to address the biggest problem, culture.

IMO we need a guy strong and confident enough to keep players grounded REGARDLESS of contracts AND Jerry. Not afraid to challenge leaders for not doing their jobs. In other words, can you see Ben Johnson calling Parsons or Lamb out after a bad game or practice? I can't but Belichick or Vrabel would have no problem IMO.
My problem with Belichick is he hasnt done anything since Brady left. The team went downhill still look bad. Brady won a SB without Bill.
