Diggs, Smith, Steele, Cox, Bland, just to name a few.
Bland I like. Diggs is a ball hawk, and we need a defender.
Smith is at the end of his ascent.
The rest are JAGs, something we seem to like to collect, old boy

All of these QBs won titles after turning 30. You are posting disinformation.
No...he's not posting disinformation because 12 of the are HOFers with two more probably going in. Nobody is mistaking Dak for that.

The ones that aren't are much better QB's than Dak...except for maybe Eli. That's close.

It's going to be harder in the salary cap era, and more specifically post 2011 when they came up with the new rules for rookie contracts and the like. This is where getting the big money actually matters.

The Rams showed you can create a window in one offseason. We don't have a front office that would be willing to do that

dream on you morons Stephen A. is right your all obnoxious fans and don't know when your being played by the jones's. His teams are window dressing and that's all they are a first year qb busted your dream wake up and smell the roses the draft team for the cowboys are a joke. and brock purty has the same playoff experience as dak only thing out of the starts 0f 8 he's closer to the super bowl than dak has ever been. better call the forty niners scout team and get some pointers your's are complete failures
Calling folks morons is kinda funny, considering your post.

Oh the irony.

Interesting take. Reality is no one knows the future. Philly looks really good right now, but they are aging up front on both the D and O lines. They are going to have to pay Hurts big dollars and that will hurt all the other pieces. No money, no honey as they say. Throw Hurts new salary in with what they are paying Brown and a few other folks and they will be a shell of what they are now. Above said, I'd rather be Philly then us right now because they are still playing. NFC East will be fun next year. Everyone is pretty decent.

There’s a window it’s just that the shades are pulled down.

What core is there after Micah and CeeDee?

Yeah like the other poster said, Diggs, Osa, Bland, Smith, Steele, Clark, Parsons, CD, Kearse, Wilson, Ferguson, Hendershot etc.

I'd also have to ask who all do you believe is not a part of the core? Most these guys I think we can grow with.

Cowboys window closed when Jimmy’s teams left and they won’t open again until after Jerry leaves.
Its the curse of the Jim-bino

Chilling stat. SF in NFC championship 3 of last 4 years. Philly 7 times since 2001.

Youth or not we are trailing mightily vs these 2 teams when compared to the Jimmy Johnson years.

Sure FA a factor but reality is SF and Eagles have managed it....

If this is true, it is because of the other teams in the NFC like PHL, SF, NYG, WAS and DET on the rise. The East is not going to get any easier.

How much can we save by cutting Zeke and Tyron and not resigning Schultz? That’s how you have to start to open a new window

You have an above average, not elite qb, so any “window” talk probably begins and ends there.

But if you are talking about this team’s “core”, I think it’s pretty good to have a 23 year old premium edge, a 23 year old WR1, likely bookend OT neither of which is yet 26 (assuming they keep RFA Steele), and no matter how ya feel about Diggs’ tackling, CB1 who isn’t yet 25.

You are obfuscating. Many QBs on your list won it before 30 as well. Others, like Elway made it to the SB before 30. List the guys who made it to and won their first SB after 30.
The fan discussed something similar.

Ken Anderson
Phil Simms
Peyton Manning
Matt Ryan

These are the quarterbacks that eventually made a Super Bowl after playing 7 years as the starter for that team. That list is small for a reason and Peyton and Matt in their primes are significantly better than Dak and both did go to conference title games before reaching eventually reaching a Super Bowl.
