Sounds like Giants may be resting starters...

Here’s what Daboll said during his Monday press conference:
We’ll talk about it and do what’s best for the team. So, it’s early Monday. Go out there and try to have a good week of practice, prepare like we normally do, and then decide what we want to do relative to who’s playing, who’s not playing. Whatever we think is best for our team, that’s what we’ll end up doing.

That's not what it sounded like to me. Injured players need rest. He didn't say healthy players would rest

This game is a great opportunity for us to get a quasi bye week and rest starters and heal up all banged Up players so we can be as healthy as possible for our game vs the Vikings. We committed a slew of mistakes in that game and it still took a last second GWFG to beat us. The Vikings have the 31st ranked D in the NFL , giving up 412 pts. They have won 11 of their 12 games by 8 or less pts! In their 4 losses, they've been beaten by more than 10 pts. We can beat em. Blowing 28-14 & 27-10 leads to GB and Jags is what now has you guys needing us to bail you out. Sorry, you're on your own. Blame your D for that.

Regardless if the Eagles lose to the Giants next weekend, the Cowboys can't get the #1 playoffs seed since the 49ers won today and definitely are not going to lose next weekend against the Cardinals. This means the 49ers would get the #1 playoff seed while the Cowboys get the #2 seed. The Cowboys don't want to get the #2 seed, because that means we would have to play against Aaron Rodgers and the Packers (#7 seed).

It would be best if the Cowboys stay at the #5 wildcard spot. This way the #7 seed Packers would play whomever is the #2 playoff seed (whether the Eagles or the 49ers). Let Aaron Rodgers and the Packers play and beat that #2 seed while the Cowboys play the #4 seed easier Buccaneers. Once the Packers beat the #2 seed, they will have to play whomever ends up as the #1 playoff seed. Meanwhile, the Cowboys would play the easier #3 Vikings or #6 Giants (whomever wins their wildcard match) in the second round Divisional Round.

If the Packers beat the #1 seed in the 2nd round (divisional) AND the Cowboys beat either the #3 seed Vikings or #6 seed Giants (whichever wins the wildcard match), the Cowboys would host the Packers for the NFC Championship Game (round 3).

That's the easier and best route to the Super Bowl.

I admittedly disagree with most of your posts, but this one by you is spot on. Everything you lay out is exactly correct to the best and easiest path for us to the Big game. Nice post. .....

Eagles aren’t going to be able to just flip a switch. Even if a few backups play, eagles have to play their guys too and that’s a win for us - win or lose

we'll get a shot to break the 30 year old curse from 1992!!! This may be the best chance ever!! Js

But some of these fools thinks it's gonna be a cake walk with a washed up rb, a #10-12 QB, and a Checkdown te core that has 2 playoff tds since 1995. Ha ha ha

Not enough weapons to get past the first round

I consider myself a very jaded grumpy negative Cowboys fan ... but you take the cake. I mean are you sure you aren't looking for this URL? www.bleedinggreenation.com? Literally every post in this thread (and there is a lot of them) are all pro Eagles and all anti Dallas.... like are you even trying to hide your troll account.

Dabol may be stupid enough to actually play starters and try to win!
The only difference it would make is who they play the first game. So there might be a reason there.

It's really not. They get a week of rest as the #1 seed.

The only way it's a win for us is if Hurts shows the shoulder is really bothering him or some other key players get hurt, which no one should hope for. Other than that, it really has little bearing on us other than if they lose and we can take the division.

I love the cowboys. Ive prolly been to more cowboys games then the majority of y'all but prior to Cowboys/Att Stadium

I don't like our outdated unsuccessful te checkdown scheme and I think this team needs to evolve but I'ma fan
