I wish Jerry had built a real football stadium and not a mall. Yea it’s pretty and all but I’d rather play on grass in the elements. But we know Jerry making money is more important than creating a real home field advantage.
get over it "Just Jerry" I believe Houston built the first one in the 70s, saints followed now id say about half of all stadiums are indoors and cost billions to build so they are used for other things besides football as ARLINGTON TX agreed to pay for half and then lease it back to jerry. its Arlington's stadium as well . yell at them. emotional much? have you looked around, lots of NFL stadiums are indoors. and an advantage to who ive seen the bills and NE not be able to throw the football in their own stadiums or MOVE a game or more per year over weather, that so cool wish we had that...

the jerry hate is unreal and unwarranted. having stadium in the weather effect both sides , rather have a clean game where both teams settle it on the field not overcoming weather.

BTW the rangers and stars and mavs all play indoors..hmmm

I just heard Jerry being asked if he's for resting players in the finale, ..with his response being " No, we have too much at stake ahead " per 105.3 interview.

So it's not the outdated theory you think it to be. As mentioned, teams vary. coaches vary and apparently opinions are gonna vary.
Isn't quoting Jerry an outdated theory??? He still lives in the 90's.
Didn't the Giant's also say they were plying starter lol....

and what's wrong with the Giants saying that ?
What's wrong with Jerry saying that ? he's still tuned in the current staff and coaches - or is McCarthy and Quinn, etc. "outdated' as well ?

If you believe what Jerry says, then I've got a second hand car to sell you.

Regardless if the Eagles lose to the Giants next weekend, the Cowboys can't get the #1 playoffs seed since the 49ers won today and definitely are not going to lose next weekend against the Cardinals. This means the 49ers would get the #1 playoff seed while the Cowboys get the #2 seed. The Cowboys don't want to get the #2 seed, because that means we would have to play against Aaron Rodgers and the Packers (#7 seed).

It would be best if the Cowboys stay at the #5 wildcard spot. This way the #7 seed Packers would play whomever is the #2 playoff seed (whether the Eagles or the 49ers). Let Aaron Rodgers and the Packers play and beat that #2 seed while the Cowboys play the #4 seed easier Buccaneers. Once the Packers beat the #2 seed, they will have to play whomever ends up as the #1 playoff seed. Meanwhile, the Cowboys would play the easier #3 Vikings or #6 Giants (whomever wins their wildcard match) in the second round Divisional Round.

If the Packers beat the #1 seed in the 2nd round (divisional) AND the Cowboys beat either the #3 seed Vikings or #6 seed Giants (whichever wins the wildcard match), the Cowboys would host the Packers for the NFC Championship Game (round 3).

That's the easier and best route to the Super Bowl.

You want to play Tom Brady in TAMPA BAY or Aaron Rodgers in DALLAS the Cowboys had a 2 TD on them earlier this year just beat themselves in 4th Quarter

Remember what always happens (whether at GB or in Dallas) when playing Aaron Rodgers and the Packers, the officials ALWAYS HELP THEM OUT.

I would rather play Tom Brady in Tampa Bay.

You think the officials don't help out Brady. Ok:thumbup:

I’m not so sure about that. Today was only the Giants second win in their last seven games. I’m sure he wants his team playing well for the playoffs. If you can get on a roll now it could carry into the playoffs. Wouldn’t be real beneficial for them to follow up today’s good performance with a bad performance against Philly next week. They haven’t won consistently the last six weeks.
He should try to win. Winning in Philly or San Fran whole lot harder than winning in Dallas. They don't want those two teams getting home field advantage for the entire playoffs

Officials have not been friendly to the Bucs this year from what I have seen.
Tell that to the Falcons who sacked Brady on a rountine sack on 3rd down trailing 21-15 late in the 4th quarter, and got a personal foul penalty. The Bucs got to keep the ball and run the clock out for the win instead of punting to the Falcons with a chance to possibly win the game.

You know they do, but Brady has been struggling of late and showing his age, unlike Rodgers who is playing better and can run with the football when needed (unlike Brady).

He threw for 400+ yards on Sunday. Rodgers has been carried by his defense and special teams. I don't care who we play because I believe we beat either team but I want the home game 100% of the time.

That's got to be the first time all season Brady threw for that much. I just noticed Rodgers threw for less than 160. Ouch. Regardless, Rodgers always uses his arm and legs to hurt us, unlike Brady who only has an arm. I hear you on wanting a home game, but understand how the Packers D held the Vikings to only 17 points, meanwhile the Buccaneers D struggled to contain Darnold and his Panthers O to 24 points while barely squeaking out a win. Overall, give me the team whose QB and Defense is more limited than the other. That means Brady and the Buccaneers.

200 of those yards against a 35 year old DB who was making Cappuccinos the week before the game. Brady is average these days.

I don't care if it was against an 80 year old grandmother.

Like I said home playoff game >>> road playoff game.

Like I said earlier in this thread Daboll appears to be all about winning. The guy went for a two pointer in the opener against Tennessee to win the game rather than tie with a PAT. The Eagles stomped the Giants earlier in the season, and I’m sure they’d like to get some payback by keeping them from winning the NFC East. The Giants haven’t strung two wins together since week six and seven. They need to learn how to string wins together if they’re going to have any success in the playoffs.

Eagles will have all the motivation in the world while the Giants will have none. Usually results in a lopsided scoreline despite starters playing or not.

We just really need to hope for no injuries next Sunday. If the wrong guys get banged up, it could put us at a serious disadvantage in the first round.

Giants need to prove they can beat a team like the Eagles. They will show up to win.

Watch.

we'll get a shot to break the 30 year old curse from 1992!!! This may be the best chance ever!! Js

But some of these fools thinks it's gonna be a cake walk with a washed up rb, a #10-12 QB, and a Checkdown te core that has 2 playoff tds since 1995. Ha ha ha

Not enough weapons to get past the first round
