Pre-snap penalties are killing this team. First or second and 15 is a big deal for a dink and dunk offense. If you cannot fix what you have total control over, it's difficult to whine about the results

It doesn’t take much to look at this game from an objective standpoint and tell how corrupt this league is against the Cowboys. There will be people who tell me I’m crazy for thinking this but those people are indenial! The refs and the league are in cahoots and are sabotaging the Cowboys at every turn. Roger Goodell is a pos and the refs are too. Good on Micah for calling out this bs. Dak and Mike McCarthy should too. We are fighting other teams, the refs and the league itself. Oh I hate it!!
Then why the hell are you still watching and posting about it:huh:

Not trying to be a dick about it, but dam, if you hate the NFL so bad and think Goodell is texting the refs before each game telling them who he wants to win, then why are you even bothering with it?

If I hated a sport and thought the whole thing was rigged by the Commissioner, guess what, I would go find another sport to follow and watch or find something else to do for 3 hours every Sunday. I dam sure would not keep watching the games and posting about it on the Internet.

Fans of every team state similar things when their team loses. If that is the case then everyone is on the same dysfunctional or corrupted playing field but the better teams overcome it. When it comes to refs I do believe some crews are better than others, some refs are downright inept. Penalties pop up like heated corn when your opponent has you on your heels and players start losing their focus and discipline and resort to cheating or fouling.

So what does the NFL achieve by derailing the Cowboys? Surely, on a financial basis (tv viewing figures alone) isnt it in their interest to get us to the SB?
Gambling is becoming huge and they are trying to legalize it across the US. Given the economy, it’s prob becoming a prime time where more states are going to want that revenue. Though I’m not a gambler, I’ve always heard Cowboys games going to have the most money on them and can influence spreads. So if point shaving were going on, there is probably the most to gain by bookies on our Cowboys unfortunately.

Interesting what’s going on with Mark Cuban. After hiring that FBI agent to investigate potential rigging of the 2006 nba finals, the agent told him he could sue the NBA and win, but he’d be killing the Golden Goose. 5 years later Mavs get their title as heavy underdogs vs a super team. Now Cuban is selling out and rumor is he’s doubling down on gambling. Lol

Fixing/ point shaving isn’t unprecedented in sports and with more and more gambling (now we have a team in Vegas even) I wouldn’t think it should surprise most to find out a game had outside influence. Football is actually one of the easier sports to shave especially given there are so many blurred lines on even just the basics of football, like holding or proper tackling. It’s hard to even know what a catch is these days since they have waffled on the rules, even though we all know Dez caught it.

I’m not a conspiracy theorist and love football so it’s easier for me to assume incompetence by the refs or even personal bias at times rather than assume it’s fixed.

With a dash of corruption on some refs
It's possible, but I doubt very much that the "corruption" is as prolific as some are claiming and/or believing.

There may be a few refs who get a bug up their butts now and then, but I don't think they make premeditated decisions to screw over a particular team or player.

Nope, that's on the people that say Micah should have holding called. Nevermind actually presenting evidence beyond still photos. Prove that Micah went against bums who hold all the time. And again, you assume that All-Pro level is even required to stymie Parsons. People have talked about his late season fading the past 2 seasons but yet it takes a vacation this season at the end and in the midst of a 2-game losing streak? How about being consistent first?
To be fair, you can see Parsons being held at least once in every game. Do the refs see it, or think it would have affected the play? I don't know. Maybe he should pirouette, like Eagles (?) DLs did against us, to draw the call.

And another thing....if the Earff really WAS round (which only idiots believe) why wouldn't all the water run down to Australia?

Hmmmmm??????

One more thing that the gub'ment AND the REFS don't want you to consider.
All the water runs down to Antarctica, but I can't prove it because ordinary citizens aren't allowed to go there.

As you pointed out, it's easy to manipulate games w/ the subjective calls of holding and PI. Lots of evidence that this is happening. Why? Keep the games close. Close games keep people watching which keeps the revenue stream running.

Cuban sold a majority interest to the Sands casino people. The Sands casino is the one currently throwing money at the TX legislature to get casinos legal in TX. The Sands casino has purchased a large chunk of land near Dall to build a new stadium for the Mavs. And a bunch of extra land to put a casino there. Won't be long now.

OK, if we're going down the betting match fixing route, the only way to guarantee the outcome is to bribe players not officials. A WR can drop a sitter, a T can wave the DE through. As far as I can see none of the penalties appear to directly influence the results (and @Bobhaze appeared to be saying we are in games with officiating crews that penalise both sides).
If there is a concern with our officiating it appears to be just as much down to our nationwide coverage the 'Crew's' like to play up for the camera's as it is a conspiracy.

Yeah, they're not fixing games, although they are manipulating the outcome.

You absolutely cannot get players involved.

Totally bro.

Just look at the evidence that supports your “close games keep people watching” theory:

Week 1
Cowboys 40 - Giants 0

Week 2
Cowboys 30 - Jets 10

Week 4
Cowboys 38 - Pats 3

Week 5
49ers 42 - Cowboys 10

Week 8
Cowboys 43 - Chargers 20

Week 10
Cowboys 49 - Giants 17

Week 11
Cowboys 33 - Panthers 10

Week 12
Cowboys 45 - Commanders 10

Week 14
Cowboys 33 - Eagles 13

Week 15
Bills 31 - Cowboys 10

In fact, in our wins we’ve outscored our opponents 372-135.

How so?

You may not like @MountaineerCowboy or his opinions, but he's not in here asking for people to be banned or crying foul when people gang up on him. Just keeps posting and gives as well as he gets

How is that a victim mentality?
“We aren’t as good as we were in the 90’s” .
“We deserve better coaches and players” “Jerry has taken away my desire to love this team”
These are all things the “defeated, victim-minded, woah is me” leader has spouted.

Those aren't victim statements. Those are opinions.

And opinions shared by a lot of people on this forum by the way. Myself included

Do you think we're as good as we were in the 90s? If you do, then I have some oceanfront property in Arizona that you should look at. I'll make you a great deal

Do you have as much fire and enthusiasm for this team after watching this parade of mediocrity for near on 30 years? If you do, good for you but it doesn't make you a victim to lose a bit of fire and interest after having your dick knocked in the dirt for 3 decades. Jerry is a top notch owner. He's a far lesser GM. He's responsible for this and pointing out the obvious doesn't make one a victim.

Now, if he said "Jerry has stolen my joy in life and I feel like I should be financially compensated for my internal suffering" then yes, that's a victim. Show me where he said that and I'll agree with you

But stating the obvious about the condition of this franchise isn't victimhood. It's just honest. And accurate
