He certainly regretted saying them in public. We’ve all said things we regret when we’re frustrated in the heat of the moment. The players and coaches got caught up complaining about the officiating this season, making excuses and it led to those comments. It’s one thing to have fans use officiating as an excuse but not the players and coaches. It has a bad look to it.

Oh okay, I see what you're saying. The only 2 leaders I'm comfortable with right now is Zack Martin and Micah Parsons. Zack and Micah have not complained about the refs or other teammates during the course of the year. As stated earlier I'm disappointed with Dak. But DLAW and other defensive guys publicly complaining about the refs was disappointing. Cooper throwing shade at the offense and how many targets he gets was disappointing. A lot of disappointment on the field and behavior off of it. I feel Micah and Zack are the only 2 leaders I'm comfortable with.

No one on this team leads the way Aikman, Emmitt, Irvin, Woodson did. When that group left there was a severe leadership void that has never been replaced. Even Zack and Micah pale in comparison to those leaders. Troy would have never gone to Cabo suringvthe playoffs. Irvin literally needed to be strapped to a stretcher before he stopped playing. Those guys were tough and demanded to win. These guys we have had since they left have hoped and wish to win, and then when they don't they blame everyone but them.

6 game suspension for Zeke for trying to eat one of the refs. Lol, but seriously I hope Dak apologizing has this story go away cuz I'm worried Roger is going to get suspension happy again. This off season is going to be ugly enough without drama from the league office.

He did all he could do after such an idiotic mistake. He owned up to it and apologized. It is what it is. He did what he could. Hopefully in the future he can hold his tongue because it was tactically dumb to lash out. lol

Unfortunately a lot of people are going to assume he did it for damage control. I choose to give him the benefit of the doubt and believe he's sincere. I don't think it will help with the refs though.

I still think it's funny when they claim that Dak is so trash and an awful QB or bus driver but at the same time create a bunch of scenarios of another team trading their top draft picks, their elite QB, or one of their top tier players to the Cowboys to get Dak in return.

They're like "No other NFL team would want Dak, but at the same time Jerry should trade him away for a 1st."

You guys keep our hopes up that there is someone out there stupid enough to trade for him.

Exactly. Doesn't matter why he apologized. By opening his stupid mouth the damage is done. If you guys think the calls were unfair, untimely, or missed this year, you better strap in for next year. He single handedly just sunk this team next season. So kind of like this season, just this time he did it with his mouth not his arm.

That's not going to happen. There is more of a chance this empowers fans to escalate physical altercations with coaches/players/refs than anything.
