Not really, most teams don't want their rookie QBs throwing the ball over 30 times. So if a rookie is in a good position he's throwing less than that, and likely to not throw the picks. When a rookie has to throw it 30 or more times the odds are he's being forced to do so, and most rookies don't have Dak's poise.
I guess that's true

Dak is real playing nicely, but I'm looking forward to opening up the playbook and getting the ball downfield with Romo.

How is the ball not going downfield with Dak? Wasn't he like 7/7 for passes 15+ yards at one point?

Co signed on all fronts. Crazy how lucky we got in the draft. The fact that there is even a semi case to be made for Dak keeping the starting gig when Romo returns is absolutely crazy.
We finally have two great options at QB. One solidified. The other showing flashes of what the future may bring. It's an awesome problem to have.

Coaching staff deserves credit for letting him run the offense without too many limitations.

We have the best QB of the draft by far. I said this in pre-season that this guy is the real deal and will go on to great things.

Literally the best problem to ever have. I would feel so awful for Romo personally to not get his job back though. But Dak is dat dude.

Great poise, great kid, born leader.....he will still be the starter in 2026 barring injury.

Check out this insane fact!

If Dak can throw 8 more passes without an INT then he will be only the 2nd player in NFL history to throw his first career 83 passes without an INT.

The other is Tom Brady.
Which # was Brady's first INT?

I feel a lot more confident with him on the field than the other guy, it's good to see youth at such an important position.
