No it isn't. There isn't enough talent in the world to overcome a head coach who can't coach. It doesn't exist.

They can't perform on the field, call their own plays, and decide for themselves whether to go for it or not, or set up for a field goal or go for a win. They will always be shackled by the incompetence of Jason Garrett, your head coach.
switzer couldn't' coach....we won despite that idiot......

Please and I don't even like Garrett but stop parroting this basura that they ruin qbs like them qbs went jack spit anyway outside of Romo. Romo is the only decent qb they had and all the wack qbs did exactly what you'd expect. Seriously name the other qbs that we're sooo ruined and you'd see it isn't a murders row of qbs. Please stop parroting junk narratives.

My support of Garrett has not been an endorsement of his coaching skills but rather a more sympathetic gesture.

I like Jason. Because of his Cowboy history and connection. He’s a puppet I can embrace.

I’ve maintained from the beginning if he has more success all will embrace him.

But now with Dak it appears it’s coming to an end. Jason is walking on hallowed ground .

My insider info this morning tells me no one is safe with Jerry intent on making Dak our future barring some kind of miraculous finish this season. If Jason can’t uplift Dak Jerry will look for someone else.

You aren't seriously trying to divert blame away from Garrett and putting it all on Dak are you? I hope not.

Yes.

Jerry has wasted 23 years. Garrett has only wasted 10-plus. The lesser of two evils, but an evil nonetheless. And I will focus on the needed change that I know can happen over lamenting what I don't see as a possibility.

Garrett sucks at his job, can be and should be fired.

Jones sucks as a GM, but won't fire himself.
so if the GM is not fired...nothing will change...the next coach, lots of excitement, hope, good first year and then back to average......parcells went .500, wade, garrett, switzer (although he rode the coat tails of aikman and triplets to a superbowl win)...

But he did win one, right?

And Parcells did build this team back from the trash heap they were in, right?

And Gailey made the playoffs two years out of two years, right?

And Wade Phillips coached in three playoff games over a four year span, right?

Look, there's issues and then there are Garrett-level issues. He's worse than any of the others have been.

I'd rather take the chance that someone else might actually be better, over sticking with 8-plus years of proven failure, how about you?

We saw how Garrett’s offense was with Romo.

I can’t wait to see Dak with another offense and coaching staff.

Ok, I defended this kid to the death, but this season I have no leg to stand on with him, what we have hea fans is we all "thought" we had a diamond, turns out we got a gift wrapped turd, who pretends to be a pro QB on what used to be one of the best teams in the NFL... we are a joke. Time to flush the turd and start over.

It was just 2-3 weeks ago that was accosted by some posters when I said there is no freaking way we would ever on God’s green earth, in this universe, in this timeline get a first rd pick for Dakota

Who is dumb enough to do that. We can’t trade to ourselves

It’s funny that even during the 8-8 years or rough times with Romo at the helm, the offense was never inept. It has been inept with Dak.

I don’t really believe that Dak regressed. I think he just has not ever improved. He is not a special player. He had a stellar rookie season until defenses got tape. The coaches have not helped him but he also lacks the vision and the awareness to move the ball down the field apparently. He also lacks the accuracy due to poor mechanics.

Sooo, your saying spend the 2nd round pick, FA money, on a TE or WR to fix the passing game.

Perspective. If he's playing like a 4th round QB, then you can't bank the immediate future of the franchise on him.

I agree, and they won't, he'll get another year to prove it or not, on his rookie deal.

I'd argue that they even ruined Romo. Can you imagine how much more success Tony would have had with a guy like Sean Peyton? Romo had a good career but he should be a HOFer. Garret's offensive scheme and offensive line bumbling robbed him of that potential.

Lol... Payton had Brees for how long? He's won 1 Super Bowl. Yeah that will get him in the HOF, but really when you have a qb like Brees, isn't it underachieving not to have more?

From your lips to God's ears.

Hopefully with a new coaching staff. I don't think there's a frog's chance Dak can salvage his career for the current coaching staff.
