I think that he gets a major extension if the cowboys just make the playoffs for a third straight year. They could get shut out in a playoff wildcard game with him throwing 20 interceptions and that would still happen.

Missing the playoffs barely and I do not know what happens.

Missing the playoffs by an enormous margin and picking in the first 5 picks somehow and they would consider options to restructure but lower his cap hit or just a June cut.
Seems fair, although I don't know about a first round exit, too many weapons at his disposal. Jerry might make him walk home.

Dak fans call Cowboys fans Eagle fans to make theirselves feel better about being player over team.

It’s such an elementary way to go about it, but all the Dak fans do it.
Just when I think I read the dumbest post in this forum, you go and post again.

Eagles fans are losers. They often display that with an obsession of the team that they wish they were fans of.
I bet they wish they were monikered "America's Team."
Why else would any normal functioning adult be here unless they were a Dallas fan?

It’s a 13 year old Taylor Swift fans term now being used by “ grown men” too…….

It’s now misused to disarm and silence anyone who has even the most minor criticism of someone or something. It is used personalize a non-personal feeling.

Having a good regular season where he plays in at least 15 games, has a TD to int ratio of 5-1 or better and throws at least 27 TDs. Then goes on to start every postseason game with at least that ratio and averaging at least 250 yards per game (with no critical turnovers). Also he would need to win SB MVP with at least 300 yards passing with at least 2 TD passes and no turnovers in a winning effort.

Just in case you were thinking it’s impossible. That is what would do it. For every single Cowboys’ fan-including his most staunch detractors. Let’s hope he pulls it off. What would everyone talk about then? Everyone would be even more geared up for the following season.
Well for anyone who has decided they want another qb, they will find something.
I think some will never accept dak.

Dak has had a very good defense now for 2-3 years,(something romo never had) and has played poorly against SF
twice in playoffs.
That has brought more people into the unhappy with dak crowd, and with many media people.

Lets see what he does this year with this super team.

Nope. It would change nobody's mind.

Winning the SB

Anything less is unacceptable with the supporting cast that he has
I'm new here so it's interesting seeing the factions of fandom and their position on Dak.

No...there are too many variables that don't involve Dak to put SB on him. BUT...if we stay relatively injury free like last year and we have a viable chance and he wets the bed, that's all that will matter. Stat Dak won't do it. We need W's in January IF it's reasonable. That's all we can ask of ANY QB.

*Sorry moderators...new here so occasionally I let the curses fly.* Caught this one myself.

"The best way Dak can silence his critics around here is to leave the team. Get cut, traded, retire - either one is fine with me and will definitely shut me up."
Some CowboysZone members are still talking about Prescott's predecessor. They have talked about something as far out of left field as Romo falling over a pickleball net.

Sooner or later, Prescott will no longer be an active player for the Dallas Cowboys. He will still be talked about on CowboysZone many years afterwards regardless.

No apologies necessary. Old members let them fly also.

Advice? Always type words out completely. The site filter is intentionally there to catch-and-mask the vast majority of stuff posted. Totally ignore special keys like the asterisk, dash and @ signs--unless it is for stuff like posting statistics or tagging another member by name, lol. And let slips be more unexpected than expected. ;) :)

Amen somebody finally had to say it
you said this to this post:

Just settle down and think...for one second for a change.

If Dak HELPS this team, win a super bowl...you think people wouldn't give him credit?

That's just stupid and crazy thoughts.

Maybe you should allow Dak to actually do that...at least ONCE...before you give yourself so much credit about being so negative and nasty about it,.

Which one is it he can get your respect with play or do you just want him gone no matter how he plays?

No people WOULD give him credit, BUT, you’ll always have a handful of very vocal posters howling for his head.

I know i laugh at the posters who come here and say "No one hates Dak" CLEARLY there are some here that do... to say some dont post it daily is just BS. We know the ones who are here just to carry that flag..
