It was obvious YEARS AGO that Dak wasn't the guy.
This. I wouldn't be surprised to see Brock Purdy get more money this coming offseason.Well if it makes you feel better he will be the 10th higher paid in a few years.
Gonna have to disagree very strongly on this. The Watson trade will go down as the worst trade ever. What they gave up for him will cripple that team for years to come.We are in the same boat as Cleveland given that we have a QB Contract that will negatively affect the Team for years to come.
Dak isn't as useless as Watson but he is a mediocre QB who will never get you over the top.
The Cleveland fanbase turned on Watson and it looks like the Cowboys fanbase will do the same with Dak.
Dak isn't horrible but him being paid the top QB salary in the NFL is insulting.
Maybe it's time for DAK to jump off the bandwagon instead of us!
You've answered your own question. He started posting BEFORE Dak signed the contract in 2021. The danger was signing a QB to top dollar that had red flags everywhere if one was willing to look.He created his account in February 2021 after the Cowboys went 12-5. What dangers were ahead? We went 12-5 the next 2 seasons with a playoff win. He’s been trashing Dak and the team ever since he created his account. He wants dangers ahead for the team, because he hates the Cowboys. When the team wins, he never shows up after the game. When the Cowboys lose, his posts are all over the board after the game, tearing down Dak and the organization. When we beat the Bucs in the playoffs, he was nowhere to be found but was posting immediately after the loss to SF the following week, ripping Dak. Does that sound like normal fan behavior to you? Normal fan behavior is tearing down the team and QB when it’s deserved but also celebrating a big win and great performance. Disappearing after wins, especially playoff wins isn’t normal. The guy isn’t a Cowboys fan. He enjoys trolling Cowboys fans because he has an agenda.
He has to unless he takes a friendly deal.This. I wouldn't be surprised to see Brock Purdy get more money this coming offseason.
It always boggles my mind that I get called an “Eagles fan” for wanting the Cowboys to dump a loser QB.You've answered your own question. He started posting BEFORE Dak signed the contract in 2021. The danger was signing a QB to top dollar that had red flags everywhere if one was willing to look.
If he were the fan of another team, he would have encouraged the signing of Dak as it would benefit his team.
Dak hasn't had a ton of games where he was truly deserving of the lions share of the credit. When he has deserved credit, I don't recall @MountaineerCowboy denying it.
The win over the Bucs was simply a game where Dak did his part but his team was simply better than the other team. It wasn't deserving of a standing ovation as proven a week later.
All of that aside, folks have been way more "hostile & insulting" in dealing with @MountaineerCowboy comments (and anyone else who shared similar opinions) than he was in sharing his opinions. If you two have simply gotten under each other's skin, that's fine. It happens. I'm just saying if folks had listened with an open mind to any of the reasons for his concerns rather than just defend blindly maybe there wouldn't be the hard line of who was right & who was wrong.
Oh it's way worseI would say this is just as bad maybe worse than the Brandon Carr deal.
Well that's titillating.Tired of hearing that tittle "highest paid in history!" like it'll never be broken
hey hey hey this is a family site!!!!!Well that's titillating.
Let's not get ahead of ourselves here and go off the rails. And Jamies Winston is better than both of em.
So you think teams would have lined up to make him the highest paid after they witnessed this season?I think Dak may have screwd up by signing the extension. Had he not he could've gotten more money and had the favor of a new fanbase. Now Dak's contract is going to labeled as one of worst in football, and Cowboys fans are going trash his name at every turn if he doesn't play better.
He is the safety who made couple of plays against usI think I read that the one from us was used on a receiver?
Looks like it was

What red flags did Dak have everywhere before he signed his first contract other than coming off an injury? How would signing one of the best QBs in the league going to benefit Mountaineers team? Since we signed Dak to his first extension the Cowboys have gone 12-5 three straight seasons and won a playoff game. They made the playoffs three straight seasons for the first time since their last SB win. I’m tired of arguing about him with fans that don’t like him and think better QBs than him are a dime a dozen. By the way you’re making yourself look silly defending someone who comes here only to bash the QB and the team. MountaineerCowboy has you wrapped around his little finger. He’s brainwashed you. You even mentioned him twice so he’s notified. He has complete control over you. LolYou've answered your own question. He started posting BEFORE Dak signed the contract in 2021. I can't read your tone, but this is a parody post, yes?I think Dak may have screwd up by signing the extension. Had he not he could've gotten more money and had the favor of a new fanbase. For heaven’s sake, both teams over spent for their starting quarterback. Both teams are struggling to find success. Philly’s GM may be more daring than Jerry, but then, if he fails he’s fired and goes and works for some other team. Jerry has to pick up the pieces of his wrecks. It always boggles my mind that I get called an “Eagles fan” for wanting the Cowboys to dump a loser QB.
Meanwhile, actual Eagles fans, are absolutely over the moon that Dak is locked down for more years.
The Eagles have seen the most success in the history of their franchise under Dak's watch. They hope, like Dak over Dallas fans, that Dak is QB for life in Dallas.
He is on the fringes of being horrible! We are in the same boat as Cleveland given that we have a QB Contract that will negatively affect the Team for years to come.

Yeah, I’m sure the 5-2 Eagles hate having a QB that’s accounted for 15 TDs to 4 INTs this season, that’s already proven to be able to lead them to a Super Bowl, and the Dak fans favorite, finished second in the MVP voting. For heaven’s sake, both teams over spent for their starting quarterback. Both teams are struggling to find success. Philly’s GM may be more daring than Jerry, but then, if he fails he’s fired and goes and works for some other team. Eagles fans probably appreciate the Cowboys’ quarterback contract situation. Misery loves company.
