Dak Critics haven't been proven wrong

They have been doing it for years. They so hated 2023....then blamed the packers loss entirely on him like our defense had nothing to do with it. It was a long season for them...but they stuck with it.

This year looks to be longer.
Nobody blamed that loss entirely on Dak. You're lying.

Dak will never prove his critics wrong.

He's not good enough and never will be.

The Giants and Jets aren’t our opponents every week.
You will never be good enough to debate facts. There are maybe 10 other guys in the entire world who are better at his job than he is. Even his greatest critics have conceded this year. And they get paid to do football. I would bet the house on you not being top 1 million in anything you do.
And before you @ me with the “you either”’garbage, nobody in here claims to be great at this, you’re the only one. You’re the only one who thinks everyone is wrong. When you can’t admit you’re wrong about anything, your word can’t be trusted. You’re that person!

Daks playoff games:

2016 GB: face value stats it looks like Dak outplayed Rodgers but it's not the case. Dallas was down 28-13 going into the 4th. 3 score differential. 2/3rds of the game they did nothing until GB went prevent defense to start the 4th. Then they finally got on a roll and started clicking but it was to little to late. Good finish by the offense though.

2018 Seattle: down going into the 4th in a close game. Zeke did most of the heavy lifting most of the game but Dak and co did come through in the 4th to put the game away. Good finish by Dak in a tough fought game.

2018 Rams: down 1 score going into the 4th so on paper looks like the game was close but in reality it was ugly. 220+ rushing yards given up and they crushed us in T.O.P. Seattle shut down our run game and we became one dimensional. This game is not on Dak by any means since the defense got walked over but they did struggled to move the ball when they had the chance. Goff was pedestrian at best too.

2021 niners: down 3 scores going into the 4th. Dak and the offense was atrocious.

2022 Bucs: Crushed them but they had no right being in the playoffs (8-10). Missing (2) pro bowl OL and their defense/secondary buy the end of the season consisted of camp bodies.

2022 niners: defense did its thing. Offense was atrocious once again.

2023 packers: defense was atrocious and the offense was no help. Big numbers on paper for Dak(fave value) but in reality he did absolutely nothing for the most part until GB pulled starters in the 4th and went prevent.

So in reality when you look deeper into the games Dak and the offense outside the Bucs game has been stagnant and down going into the 4th almost every game. Big numbers late when its to late. IMO Daks best playoff game even though the face value stats show otherwise would be the Seahawks game. Dak and the offense came up big in the 4th and the defense had a few big stops. Not accounting the bucs game of course.
Its all pretty good. 2016 game we started slow and I blame Garrett for sitting every one the previous game and we had 3 weeks no game....but regardless of anything we tied the game. It didnt get there in a way to please you but game is tied and we had momentum. Defense gave up three big plays in a row to allow them to kick a field goal...

It might seem that I and other Dak critics need to eat Crow given how well Dak is playing now, but all of the criticisms/doubts we had were legitimate.
He hadn't shown that he was a "Force Multiplier" type QB where he would elevate his team despite being short handed. He did struggle in many big game situations and came up small. He did talk a good game but didn't always back it up on the field in crucial games. Him demanding to be the highest paid QB in the NFL when he hadn't proven that he was deserving of $60 Million a year.
Having said all that, this year he isn't proving critics wrong, he's just seems to have elevated his play and worked on overcoming those legitimate criticisms. He is playing at an Elite level and seems to have reached a point similar to Romo where in 2014 things finally began to click and he reached a level where he figured out the game at a high level.
I hope Dak continues on this progression and shows that he has overcome any deficiencies he displayed previously and shows that he has reached Elite status.
Talk to us during playoff time if we are even in it

The whole team looked fine a couple years ago. 2 niners games and a packer game were all lost due to bad QB play
the packer game was a WHOLE LOT more than a QB away.. you gtta stop skipping the game when the defense is on the field.

That season started just like this season. Knocked the crap out of the Giants, Jets, and Patriots. All the praise raining down on Dak and the team.

Ended in the debacle against Green Bay.

That is the whole point of the past 10 years with this quarterback.

Or the last 30 with this GM is more how i see it.

They HAVE to lie...to support their imagined Dak "hate".

It makes them FEEL better...holier than thou.

Sure...some people aren;t big Dak fans...while they incessantly criticize Jerry, some coaching, some schemes, some injuries lotta other players not delivering.

Even Rowdy.

But in their heads...people only blame just Dak.

It's weird and crazy.

No doubt. But Dak's multiple poor performances in late-season big games against legit teams has been troubling. It's not the losses as much as it is how badly he's played. Romo lost games, too, but he played very well in many of those losses. A lot of Jerry issues, as you said.

Hopefully, this year will be the magic year it turns around, but 10 years suggests it might have topped out. We'll know in 3 months for sure.
