1. He is a great representative for our franchise.
2. Says all the right things in interviews.
3. Is very marketable
4. Our revenue has gone up since he took over the starting QB spot.

Is there anything else he needs to be ?
5. Because he doesn't wear his hat backwards
6. Because he always points up to the sky when he scores a TD.

Hurts is on a rookie second round contract. Dak wanted his money and lost his toys. He now sucks, he looked great in 2016 when that offensive talent was great.

I mean, that's pretty much how it works in the NFL. Three of the final four QB's are on rookie deals, and other one is the future GOAT.

You need to win in this league before you pay your QB.

Stack the offense, cut and eat the dollars, or hire Sean Payton and give up draft capital. That's all I've got.

I am not a fanboy, but I have been impressed with his running ability.
But he lacks leadership.
Please take this opportunity to offer up reasonable and rational options.

Otherwise, you’re just trolling.

Top 10 QB that when he is not playing the #1 D and forced to play with Zeke is capable of 300 yard 5 TD games like the bucs game. Consistently leads this team to the playoffs and runs the #1 scoring offense in the NFL year in and year out.
Seven years zero results

Why should we stick with him? He has led us to some regular season wins but always falls short. He is usually not the reason that we win. I think he's only won like one or two games when we don't rush for more than 100 yards. Dude is a joke of a QB. Honestly I'd rather we be worse and try something else for the potential of it being better rather than running Prescott out there knowing what was gonna happen.

the real issue with Dak is that he is regressing and anyone with a functioning brain can see that. He’s not going to come out and be better next year with some mechanical adjustments. He is having serious problems processing reads and doesn’t see defenders and double teams. His accuracy is failing more often than not. He had one good game the last five weeks against the Bucs. It doesn’t get better from here, The only way is to stack the rest of the offense and defense with elite talent and hope that it compensates for a below average QB.

Plenty of this said it at the time too. 100% I think the rest of the league has woken up to the fact that you either need a) rookie QB that allows you to fill the skill positions around him or b) a proven performer that is worth the $$.

Some might argue that Stafford is an example of a mid range guy 'doing enough' to get a ring.. but I would say that he had reliably and consistently shown that he elevated the team around him.

My big issue with Dak.. and especially with us 'paying' Dak.. was that he has never actually shown he is a good QB. It is worth saying again.. 2016 he walked into a dream job and had Zeke rushing for 100+ every game.. we were dominant. 2017 he struggled - receivers blamed, 2018 - we gave up a heap to get a better receiving core.. he was inconsistent.. zeke was still rushing significant totals, we blamed coaching.. he gave up INT in the playoffs, 2019 - he was inconsistent going from literal 'perfect' games to games with a passer rating in the 60s. We never could get any momentum.. and Dak struggling without a truly dominant run game.

2020 we tag him.. he gets injured..
2021 we give him the monster contract before he has even thrown a ball.

The dude literally got one of the biggest paydays in league history.. with a record of exactly two wildcard play off wins.. after coming off a season in which he didn't play. I mean you couldn't make this stuff up.

It was crazy then and it has been proven to be crazy now. Sheer stupidity. And for those just 'waking up' to the Dak reality.. and thinking he has 'fallen away'.. he hasn't fallen away.. the problem is that he was never that good to start with. He walked into a crazy good squad and used his limited talents to beat up on weak opponents in a mostly weak division. As soon as there was ever a challenge.. he folded like a cheap suit.

The rest of the league knows this.. you simply can not overpay for the likes of Dak, Cousins.. and even Carr coming on the market.. same thing.. buyer beware.

Dak is an slightly above average QB that has a really good game from time to time. Maybe he would play more consistently with a better OC and another solid WR.

The combination of Dak and KMoore can't exist further. One has to go. Byron Leftwich gets canned, and KMoore moving furniture closer to Big Mike's office today. SMH.

Wow, and you think what you just said made any sense? LOL

Thats why they are the #1 defense. Because this is what they do to good QB's on a regular basis.
Watch Hurts shred their defense next week.

Fair assessment.......when does KMoore come in the room and explain himself too?

Lol this week is going to be fun all the whining will be magnified
Me personally I don’t care if we keep Dak or get rid of him he’s not the only issue
We’re close we just always seem to find a way to muck it up just like we did with last qb
I’m just not gonna sit here and whine about the qb
I did that with the last one and it didn’t help then either the grass isn’t always greener on the other side

I figured we’d be 2 and done the writing was on the wall

Well said. Dak was hot when he had all the assets on offense and a weak division to give him easy w’s. His mechanics, slow reads, inaccurate throws, and poor execution have shown up repeatedly. What other team would pay him all that money? We need someone who can evaluate QB talent so we don’t make the same or new mistakes.

He sucks

The only case for him needing to play in 2023 is because he is untradeable
I'm not a Dak faithful but he's coming back because of the contract. I listen to Mike Fisher a lot and sometimes he annoys me cuz he can be a little condescending. But another annoying thing about him is he has been very defensive of Dak during chats or broadcasts. But he did a 20 minute post game show and he basically said Dak is the reason we lost this game, Dak is regressing, Dak is a turnover machine and Dak won't be successful in the future. I was shocked Uncle Fish, Dak supporter, said those things. If someone like Fish states that Dak isn't the answer is pretty big. That's like Mickey Spags stating something negative about Jerry.

The only thing we can hope for is we find our Purdy by pure luck and Dak becomes a very expensive backup for 2 years until he's a FA.

If there was no contract then I have no reason to bring him back. He's a top 10 QB against bad defenses and a bottom 5 QB against good defenses. We've gone as far as we can with him. Time to turn the page.
