How did Jalen Hurts look before the Eagles stacked their team with all that talent? Dak is not Mahomes or elite, but you can win if THEY ACTUALLY DO SOMETHING WITH THE CAP SAVINGS
So in other words you do not need a $40M QB to win seeing as how Hurts, Purdy, and Burrows are not making that money yet have good teams around them. Thank you.

It's clear Dak is no where near elite, but the lack of playmakers on O is crazy. The D should be furious

I still think you bite the bullet and take the cap hit if you have too. Go and recruit 3-4 prospects.. and start finding our Mahomes.

The longer we wait, the further behind we are getting in real terms. Dak is an above average QB.. he will get you plenty of regular season wins.. most likely get you regular play off spots.. he is good enough (on his day) to win a wild card game or two.. but that is it. That is his ceiling.

Unfortunately team management seems to be happy with that year after year.

I'd prefer to just ride it out. Fine.. 25% of our cap is going to the guy wearing a headset on the sidelines.. yeah short term pain but hopefully it means we are finding a guy that will actually be capable of delivering real success. We just have to move on from Dak.

He is top ten when he isn’t playing the number one defense? Isn’t that when he should show out and play like a top ten QB? Do you realize how nonsensical that sounds?
Do you realize how ridiculous this sounds. Quarterbacks ,don’t win by themselves.

Agree. Dak Prescott will not win a Superbowl. That's clear. The team carried him yet he still couldn't make one or two plays so why on earth stick with him. He's regressing.

A rookie QB like Sam Howell couldn't really have played any worse than Prescott so it's time to take the hit and move on

Dak believes that time of possession is the key, so he holds the ball as long as possible in the pocket. He also believes that completion percentage should include interceptions.

Dak has talent around him, his issue is that he doesn't manage the game well at times. The two interceptions he threw were awful, both trying to force a pass that had a high degree of danger.

...but the QB lost that game to SF by himself with his 2 (and nearly 3) INT's which was the difference make.

He’s good enough to win with. But he’s not an elite QB. He’s going to need a real #2 WR and they’re going to need to do some thing about Zeke. Plus, he’s on the payroll for 2 more years. You don’t have much choice but to make it work.

I think we have to remember.. SF had their 3rd string in there. And he looked more calm and composed than Dak. He took more sacks than Dak. He was under more pressure than Dak. He threw into more tight windows than Dak. His top two playmakers in McCaff and Deebo were taken away.. and yet he still found a way to protect the ball, keep the chains moving and stay calm.

I do not personally believe that Purdy is ever going to be an elite QB.. but that is ok.. as long as you understand what you can and can't do.. and then play around that.

The big problem is that Dak believes his own hype.. and he wants to make those big plays.. and yet he comes up empty time and time again. You just can't win a superbowl with 25% of your cap going to a guy that can't make those plays when they are needed. Just can't happen.

SF QB room.. its entire room costs less than 50% of Daks cap hit. 3 QB options that are better than Dak and less than half the cap hit. That is something that should scare our front office. And our fan base.

I am not a fanboy, but I have been impressed with his running ability.
But he lacks leadership.
Hey played terribly. I thought he had turned the corner, but the first interception was horrific.
The two deep passes, the completion to Lamb was underthrown by 5 yards or its a TD guaranteed.
The pass to Gallup was on the wrong shoulder would have been a game changer. As a elite guy you have to make those passes.
Also why could they not do anything up the seams or along the sidelines. The protection was more than adequate, every pass was at the line of scrimmage.
We really let the niners off the hook, they were ready to give away the game.
To me the defense was spectacular

Never will Jerry & Co. do this but Dak has a cap hit of $49M in 2023 with $89M in dead money so you keep his contract as is and look to the 2023-2024 off-season to trade Dak for whatever draft picks you can get for him (with Dak having $39.9M in dead money then remaining you save $11M against the 2024 cap).

Release Zeke as a post-June 1st cap hit and save almost $11M for 2023 against the cap (and save another $9M in 2024); after the 2023 season you also get rid of Gallup, Tyron Smith, and DLaw....thereby bringing an end to the overpaid, overhyped players that plague this team.

Dak“s decision making is a huge reason they lost. Those two turnovers were inexcusable. It cost at least 6 points and probably more since they had the opportunity to score before that Int before the half. That was a winnable game.

But with Pollard out, I am not sure they could have mustard up enough offense to beat the Eagles anyways. Dak is not an elite quarterback but he is the starting quarterback right now. He can play good ball. They have to get him more help. An “elite“ quarterback doesn’t lead the league in interceptions.
