I think it was clearly explained. The refs never gave us a chance, fix was in. Why he was mad.
i dont know about that, but he did tell the rams owner he'd see them in the NFC championship game. We still have a chance of course. We aint dead yet, are we??Wasn't Dak the guy who basically said we would curb-stomp the Lions?
That Dak?
Stop making up crap.Wasn't Dak the guy who basically said we would curb-stomp the Lions?

patience, pal . its been a short 30 yrsI guess the fix has been in for 30 years now.
This is totally laughable. Dak and his teammates absolutely have no championship heart. They are lazy and lousy when it comes to crunch time against a good (not even great) football team. I do not have to remind you but did you notice Dak on the sideline, he had the deer in the headlight look about him, from the start of the game. He just hates being in these contests. Think Emmitt, Irvin, and Troy. They lived for the big games. Dak hates being anywhere in the stadium. What has he ever won, other than tooty fruity games against the likes of the Jets and Raiders. Dak is a nice guy, a good face of the franchise, but he is the luckiest of lucky ducks. Had he been drafted by any other team he would have been out of the league in 2-3 years. An irate Dak Prescott was seen screaming at his sideline during a consequential first-half drive during the Dallas Cowboys' defeat to the Detroit Lions on Thursday Night Football.
Dallas was trailing 17-6 late in the second quarter when Prescott led the Cowboys down the field on a strong drive.
But multiple penalties backed Dallas up to a 2nd & 25 on their own 42. Prescott hit target CeeDee Lamb for a ten-yard gain, following that up on 3rd & 15 with an 11-yard strike to tight end Jake Ferguson.
It left the Cowboys with a tough choice on 4th & 4 from the Detroit 37 yard line. Rather than go for the first down to extend the drive, coach Brian Schottenheimer chose to take the easy points instead.
Prescott was furious, seen blowing up at his sideline in a rage to go for the kick rather than try and keep their momentum going.
Kicker Brandon Aubrey was able to easily knock the kick through, but Schottenheimer's choice left the Lions with plenty of time to extend their lead.

Troy could not win a game with out Emmitt Smith. This is totally laughable. Dak and his teammates absolutely have no championship heart. Keep the insults to yourself tough guy. Then he's as big a crybaby as you
We could have tried to play more ball control there at the end of the half to play keep away from their offense. But with getting the ball out of halftime, cutting the deficit to a one possession game was the right decision.Your terrible defense is why you need points and to control the ball.
lol comparing what the triplets went through to what this offense is watching while on the sideline.. come on man.. what would happen to the defensive players on Jimmy's team when they gave up 30+ once much less 5 times..lol.. Murray would have been cut during the game thursday and several defenders would need to find thier own ride home from Detroit.... Jimmy might have tried to choke someone on the field while watching his defense give up 40 points...This is totally laughable. Dak and his teammates absolutely have no championship heart. Tough enough not to cry about refsKeep the insults to yourself tough guy.
But he didn’t say what DFW said. He lied.He did say something close to that, he was asked can I quote you and DAK said sure , I think putting up 30 points is pretty freaking good actually. Especially with a team that was beat up like us. But you get it, he’s always gonna be the blame even if he was injured. It was his fault.
How did we cut it to a 1 possession game?We could have tried to play more ball control there at the end of the half to play keep away from their offense. But with getting the ball out of halftime, cutting the deficit to a one possession game was the right decision.
But whether we went for it and scored a touchdown or under any other scenario it didn’t and wouldn’t have mattered. The defense is absolutely horrendous. The defense per usual decided the game.
But too weak to attack people for having a different opinion.Tough enough not to cry about refs
Pointing out weakness is not a weakness. Dallas lost this game fair and square. Crying about 1 or 2 calls in a game we lost by 2 TDs is sad.But too weak to attack people for having a different opinion.
You already lost this argument.Pointing out weakness is not a weakness. Dallas lost this game fair and square. Crying about 1 or 2 calls in a game we lost by 2 TDs is sad.
Oh, never mind thenYou already lost this argument.
Unless it’s 4th and 1 or time has become an issue or you are at the 3 yard line or closer, I think you should most always put the points on the board, especially on the road. Detroit was winning the trenches all night. It didn’t make sense to go for it. It was also the right move to take the FG before the first half ended because it cut into the lead and Dallas was getting the second half kickoff. You cannot assume that early in the second quarter would be the last dang time the defense would force a punt. The logic that Schottenheimer followed there was sound.
Team was down by two scores at that point and kicking the field goal would bring them within one score.
In fact, that decision helped the Cowboys get within 3 points in the 4th quarter.
Every decision leading up to that point is subjective of course, but they went from 3 points down in the 4th quarter to losing by 14 points.
You cannot expect your offense to score 45 points very often to win games where the other team scores 44 points.
There of course is plenty of blame to go around from the coaches to the players and even the referees, but in the end it comes down to the same thing it has most of the season .. bad defense.
