Let's be honest and admit that last year was an anomaly for Dak Prescott when it comes to throwing interceptions. Dak's career average for throwing interceptions was .725 interceptions per game prior to last season, or 1.73% of all his pass attempts. Last year, he threw 1.25 interceptions per game, and more than doubled his interception percentage to 3.8%. Perhaps with better receivers, Dak won't feel the need to force the ball and he will trend back toward his career average.
Those who want to extrapolate last year's performance to pretend that Dak has ALWAYS been bad at throwing interceptions are not correct. Maybe, Dak has permanently changed for the worse. It's possible. But it is unlikely.

Dak averaged 37 passes per game in 2021. That equates to 633 passes he will attempt in 2023 if he plays all 17 games, and maintains his pass attempts per game under Mike McCarthy. Multiply that by his career interception percentage prior to last year, and that equates to about 11 interceptions over 17 games, which is something the Cowboys can live with.

Actually, that doesn't say he's second only to Mahomes in 3rd down conversions...just 3rd down conversions over 5 yards. It also doesn't specify how many attempts there were, and compare that with other QBs.
