There is a post just above this one that is one of the best I have seen. So the moral of this is that before you say "buffoonery" you should look in the mirror.
"If we are being truly honest with ourselves, we should all have known before now that Dak is much more of a cog in the wheel as opposed to the motor that keeps the wheel turning. Yesterday's loss was not solely on Dak's shoulders. There were definitely things he could've done better and he definitely did not get all the help he needed. His accuracy has never been pinpoint. He has a lot of intangibles and an ability to pick up yards with his feet. Green did him 0 favors and the defense did him no favors short of one turnover...
I think a lot of us want our QB to be the best player on the offense. Dak is not this. Dak doesn't play the way Romo did. Romo made receivers better by throwing into tight windows and taking chances that Dak doesn't have the accuracy or confidence to take.
Yesterday with a young Romo under center, does anyone believe he wouldn't have passed for more than 177 yards? He may very well have pressed and thrown some interceptions or he may have thrown for 300+ yards and 3 TDs. Romo was the motor that drove the offense back then because he was the best offensive player we had. The running game is what drives this team now because, frankly, the offensive line and Zeke are the best players on this offense; better than Dak is as a passer.
Again, this was not Dak's fault but nobody has a perfect team in the NFL. Few teams have great offensive lines. So much is overcoming what's around you. Dak does need support and we said the same thing about Romo all those seasons. I do think Dak needs more support than Romo did though."
