I am/was a fan of young Dak. But what he matured into...not so much. I think he's delusional..like a well-intentioned preacher who is mad you don't share his apocalyptic vision.

I was never a big fan . But once our delusional and dysfunctional owner chooses to use or keep him then I’m trying to strategize how to optimize him.

Bashing him is not constructive . We are stuck in this situation . How do we make the best of it .

After 3 similar playoff season results (2 against those very same 49ers) while committing boneheaded and unnecessary INTs while throwing into coverage, I honestly thought Dak would have learned by now it is better to throw the ball away and live to play another play, than to continue giving the football back to the other team so they can score and take the lead and win. It's all mental. He needs to be benched for a series, half or a game to force him to get his head right. Since no one around here believes in my old school way of fixing such a mental funk, might as well bench him temporarily.

Then most teams with our sorryazzzz Oline. Only need to rush 4. That leaves 7 in coverage. What q.b. can operate any offense in this setting? Not giving Dak excuses but come on You're a defensive coordinator and you know you can get pressure every pass play rushing 4 while dropping 7 into coverage. This sounds great even in Madden.....Without Parson. Dallas has to rush more then 4 and still can't get there. But who cares about that when you can rush the ball for 200 plus. Then against Dallas run attack. Dak is looking at 3rd and 7 every time. With 7 in coverage. Good luck with that

All I can do is attempt to analyze how to overcome this mess try and win some games.

Dak isn't elite but he is still a very good quarterback. It's probably hard to get any better with shaky blocking and a bottom of the league running game. There aren't too many quarterbacks in the NFL who would be able to win with this offense, behind this line and this bland offense with prehistoric formations and zero creativity.
