100% how I feel, OP. You hit the nail on the head.

Dak has everything you’d want in a QB except the cerebral capacity.
Romo threw interceptions at the worst times, and was one of the most polarizing QBs in Cowboys history. He was never labeled with "mental" or "cerebral capacity" issues. Excuses were made for him constantly, citing the o-line or bad defenses putting him in tough situations.

Well it’s actually good we have other QBs that actually played under Jason Garrett calling plays whether with the Cowboys or the Hianys to see who is actually right and who is wrong.. and the Romo-fans are on the right-side of history with this one.

I wouldnt say dumb

but that pick 6 yesterday was one of the worst decisions ive seen a qb make

you already threw that same pass and it was almost picked off then you rush back to the line to throw it again

Dak has Incurable problem ...it is called ( Panic)
He needs an all stars around him and an OL like the wall of china to function
if we have allstars at every position, then like Dak and Tren Dilfer can win too, but we have to acknowledge it and not put him in Tier-1 QBs who understand situational plays, playoff games and elevate their game and everyone else game, which Dak cannot

I wasn’t criticizing you. I was just pointing out that Romo’s history was muddied by those in the media who had an agenda to see a lack of success for the team. The objective stats never fit the narrative.
Except he WAS a choker though.

Love the guy. Darn good QB.

But everytime he had a chance to do something truly remarkable: he spit the bit.

I could list at least 7 huge team choke jobs he had a hand in.

dak is a good qb but as far as super bowl material NO, he needs to much to go his way if any thing is in his way he starts to falter and that's the problem along with the cowboys secondary and the coach its just to much to over come and that's why we're dreaming about getting to the big game sorry but see you at the next draft

A simple pump fake and Go would have been pretty smart

Nope. Every QB can be a subjective “choker” when they lose in a so-called elimination game. The fact of the matter is, a QB can only be one if he consistently fails to play up to the standards required by the position and is one of the main reasons a team loses DESPITE others (players and coaching included) living up to the standards required by their respective positions.

i don't care about rankings.

i also don't think that he isn't a smart person. and i didn't say he wasn't a smart person. as a player, though, he makes too many dumb decisions. there are less intelligent people who nonetheless learn to stop making the same mistakes over and over again.
What would make you think I was talking about you?

So you are making excuses for Dak? It's Kellen's fault for telling him to throw right there no matter what?

That is pretty silly.
No I think every interception is on the QB, no matter what. He's the guy responsible for letting the ball loose. But Moore needs to understand what type a QB Dak is. So yes the play calling could be a helluva lot better in that regard. And that's why I don't like Moore. Know your men and their capabilities is expected from some one in a leadership role.

Okay, but earlier you blamed km. Theres never just one single pass play, there are options. Dak has to see theres a man there and go into the reads.

And that is basic pass play in the flat....rudimentary. he did it twice.
Not km at all.....all dak.

Zeke running around the left corner on 3rd and 1

That's not Daks fault.

This team has 2 studs in Pollard and Lamb.

The other weapon got traded to Cleveland and the ability to separate dropped off and trickled down

Dak needs to focus on running more. He has to be the aggressor and It seems like that's when he plays w more confident

But he has to have some players on the field that defenses fear and be one of them

All we have is CeeDee and Pollard. And maybe Hilton and Davis the RB to carry this team.

I'm going dual rb w Pollard and Davis some and working them out of the slot too.

They are the only rbs who have that consistent big pop.

At least they turn around and have their eyes on the ball on passing plays w their 10 yard averages plus.
Zeke was worried about eating not catching. Urgh

Pitch to Tony Right and Pitch to Davis Left

This last game didn’t matter and there was no game plan. Was obvious by Moore calling the same plays over and over.

I'm sure the team has had their focus on Brady vs Dak on the bermuda going back to last week. Js

we played like it

2 road games in a row is tough. It's number 3 that counts.

Can we break the grass curse we've had all year 1-4

Break the 30 year old Road playoff game losing streak on the Bermuda Triangle!

Somebody is gonna have to elevate our offense to a higher potency.

Targeting players that can Score tds not just making completions.

Dak is gonna have to outrun Lil Jalen in order for us to win frfr

Id go rpo with those 2 speedy change of pace backs with a pitch option ha ha ha
